Matches that new medium grey in my bathroom. I did it along the sink and the wall, so in the water doesn’t run down the wall, works great!

I ordered a tube of this caulk to fix some joints between a few bathroom tiles that had developed cracks and the original grout had chipped out... From our builder I found out that 908 Dove Gray was the color I needed so I ordered with the thought that it would match "pretty closely" to what I have. It color matched perfectly! I'm not entirely sure why some have said that it is difficult to work with since my tube flowed out easily. Now I do know working with a sanded caulk can be a bit more challenging since it is slightly more thick than a standard silicone caulk but not appreciably. I did find that the caulk does tend to continue to flow at a very slow rate from the tube after you have finished but if you back out the plunger from the caulk gun, it does slow and allow you to cap off your tube before losing much of the caulk. This is a great product; although a bit pricey but is worth the cost...

Overall, I liked this product. It has the convenience of caulk with the look and finish of grout. But there is a trade off. it is also not as forgiving as grout and the silicone dries quickly on the surface, making it harder to clean without messing up the bead. I bought ivory because it looked like it matched my old grout from the color pallette in the product description. The tube was correctly labeled as ivory, but it was much whiter than the photo. Rather than return it I went ahead and used it. It looks acceptable but I'm not entirely satisfied. I also wished I had practiced before applying it. It is easy to overwork and it can get clumpy rather quickly. I had to reapply in some sections. So, don't trust the color photo, work fast, smooth quickly with tool or finger and clean with a damp sponge immediately after, rinsing often. You may get better results than I did.

Easy to work with

I purchased a tube of Sandstone Beige Sanded caulk. It was not satisfactory in that within a few days it started to crack. This was not, in my opinion, a risky installation. The surfaces (countertop and backsplash) were clean and dry and there were no large gaps to be filled. I had difficulty working it to a smooth surface right after installation and within a few days cracks in the caulk developed along most of the joint. I will stick with 100% silicone going forward.

The quality of this caulk is superb. Heavily sanded, acts like real grout. Longevity is also great. So why not five stars? I think they had Helen Keller color match for them. I bought 4 different tubes hoping at least one would be right. One came close, but none matched the sample they showed for each tube.
