In 40 years of cleaning guns, these are some of the best patches I've used, and at a good price, too. Ignore the naysayers complaining about them being too loose/tight, if you take the time to order the correct size patch and use the proper caliber specific jag (Tipton super jag), these work great. Faster cleaning and uses fewer patches than the T-shirt material patches..Loose threads? well yeah, you have 600 cut fabric pieces in a bag, so there is inevitably going to be some loose threads. Just lightly blow them off before running them down the bore.

They work good.
I use these for my .30 caliber rifles. Quality is good, except they do tend to fray and the individual fibers come off, but that is inherent with all patches.

Good patches, but can’t recommend for any caliber larger than .25
These bore cleaning patches were advertised as suitable for .243- .30 cal. They are double napped and absorbent as described. However, when compared to some old military surplus patches I’ve had they are thinner. I purchased them to clean a .264 bore since my .30 cal patches were too tight and had to be trimmed. Single patches were a bit loose. Worked to apply solvent but there was no scrubbing action. Doubling with 2 patches was a bit tight. They would pass through a .22 but again, too tight. Nice patches but I can only recommend for.24 - .25 cal. Can use but will need to order some of the next size up.

I've ordered these several times for my .22s and 5.7. They work just like they should

These are just the right size for use with a cleaning jag in a 6.5mm bore. They only make one pass but, they don't come apart in the bore.

Good patches for rifle cleaning
I use these for cleaning 5.56/.223 caliber barrels and am happy with the patches. I clean using a jag instead of a slotted tip on my cleaning rods and they fit well. I suggest using a slightly smaller jag if you find that these fit your bore a little too tight. I purchased a case of Tipton jags here on Amazon that go from .17-.45 caliber and they're super convenient. The jag variety lets me use the same patches for various 7.62-8mm barrels too.
