60" Wide Premium Cotton Blend Broadcloth Fabric by The Yard - Black

I got this fabric to make interior "curtains" as a temporary solution to hide closet spaces. They would be too sheer to block out light, but are solid enough to hide stuff in a closet. The edges do fray a little, but not badly. Sewing a simple hem on edges by folding edge once (or twice for cleaner look is enough. Material is lightweight cotton-like, not super soft, but not stiff either, and both sides look the same which is great. Perfect for my purpose as the material will hang nicely. Needs to be ironed, as comes with creases, but isn't horribly wrinkly material or anything. Great deal overall. I would buy more if I need it. Would recommend. I'm happy with the purchase. It shipped pretty fast too.

I used this cloth to cover the top third of my window so the sun wouldn't blind me while I'm at my desk. Fabric is thin but that's not an issue as I had to fold it in half to cover what I needed, it was cut perfectly and does exactly what I want. It seems very durable as well!

This is the best value fabric purchase I have made in several years. I had ordered this quite inexpensive material as dress lining, anticipating that for such a low price, I would receive a thin, perhaps "flimsy" material. To my surprise, the very generous piece (60"x72") was neither thin nor flimsy. Rather than using it for lining material, it will be a summer dress. I am certainly going to order more material from this company. I hope that Amazon will carry a wider variety of this company's offerings. Incidentally, my order came earlier than the time promised and was neatly cut and nicely packaged. The material came out very well after my pre-sewing machine wash and machine dry--no color "bleeding" or shrinking.

Exactly what I was looking for. It is lightweight and see through, but knowing that, just line it or double up. Worked perfectly for a cloak, doesn't fray too quickly, actually forgot to hem cloak and it didn't ravel, only 1 or two threads

This fabric is exactly what I needed. It's the right color, and very lightweight. It isn't stretchy, it's firm, and folded over it can almost hold itself up. With only one layer it is slightly transparent, but it's barely noticeable and doubling it over fixes that very quickly. It's easy to sew and very forgiving of mistakes, especially if you put the needle in the wrong spot. It's very comfortable to have against skin, no scratching or any discomfort. Very good purchase, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good, sturdy black fabric that won't stretch.

Good product for the price. It also got here sooner than expected. The black is not super dark. My black jeans that I have washed many times were darker. Be aware that the fabric also has no stretch to it at all. I used it for bulletin boards and realized I needed to cut it right to the edge. Still a very good item and would definitely order from this seller again.

This is the second time I have purchased this broadcloth. It is perfect for I need it for. It's not really made for clothing but would make a good liner for clothing. It is easy to iron, cut, and draw patterns on. I will continue to purchase this for the pet products that I make. It is 60" wide and I can get a lot of cuts out of amount that I purchased. The price is more than fair and the shipping is included in the per yard price.

About what you'd expect. Using it for a cheap alternative for black out curtains. Needed 3 layers to block out the sun.
