I got this to use as a travel/solo case for tabletop RPGs and it's fine. It's got enough room for a journal/notebook, some other accessories, and maybe a thinner rulebook or what have you. And the section at the bottom has room for pens. Fitting a full set of dice in there might be a bit tricky if you've also got pens and whatnot, but I carry mine in a pouch in my backpack, so it's not really an issue. It's plastic and probably not the highest quality. It's not going to stand up to serous punishment, or dropping it on a hard floor too many times. But it gets the job done for now and it was cheap.

I use this frequently at work. I wanted a plastic one as metal clipboards are extremely dangerous in car crashes. It does the job and stays closed. The pen compartment comes open so I don’t store anything in that. Docking a star for that reason. I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s held up.

I purchased this while in the hospital for at least six weeks after foot surgery on both feet to keep my crossword puzzles, pens, and pencil organized and something for a writing surface This is better than expected. The pencil storage case holds two pens, two.mechanical pencils, additional lead, and an eraser. The storage compartment holds two 8x10 puzzle books, a steno pad, and additional erasers with room to spare. While it could be sturdier, it provides a solid writing surface. For the price, and for my need I think it's well worth it. Though if I needed it for work or school, I would probably invest in a sturdier one. To

It's feel cheap but once you fill it, it feels much sturdier. Make sure your paper is in straight or it won't close or will crease or tear your papers. But hey it's a clipboard with a nail slot and the paper holder isn't weak so it does what it needs too.
