Absolutely Brilliant! :)
Went for the dark brown after not getting on with the light brown. This product is brilliant I can’t stress that enough. I dye my beard otherwise I’d be so grey and I’m only a 33 year old man.I was using just for men for the past year but after a few months I developed severe itchy red skin due to whatever toxic chemical they use in their products. It wouldn’t surprise men if the just for men products are likely carcinogenic or dangerous to health.SoI went on the lookout for something organic or natural and came across this which I have to admit I thought it was a load of bolloc@sBut, I ordered it in the hope that I could get relief from whatever the just for men chemicals were doing to me and my skin was so itchy and sore.So I literally mixed a heaped tea spoons worth in a plastic container using my old just for men brush. Mixed it into a paste with warm water, I mixed mine too watery though I used away at it anyway. I painted it on liberally and went in and watched a couple of hours of tv.To my amazement when I washed it all off 2 hours later I had a lovely brown beard that looked natural and real for the first time in a year. My facial hair felt nourished and soft unlike before! And it came out the loveliest colour. And the main thing, no itchy red sore face anymore, no irritation and no endless scratching. What a truly wonderful product that is better for your health and actually does a far better job. Thank you so much to whoever came up with this!Tips! Couple of things I learnedThe powder is green so when you paint it on your face or head things look green even after washing out. Not green like grass but a greenish tinge. Do not worry about this, I noticed after waking up the next day when it oxidises the true colour appears and it’s lovely when it does. I apply in the evening once a week for this reason. For men’s beards you need only a little bit of powder and water so it will last agesThere’s an earthy natural smell that lingers especially if the hair gets wet. This doesn’t bother me at all the benefits far outweigh any worry of thatIt takes longer than my old just for men product ie 2 hours as opposed to 10 minutes however I have no weird chemical burns / irritation and my skin and beard is far better using this Pure stuff without a shadow of a doubt. I treat myself once a week to this and look at it like a bit of me time, sounds weird but when you feel the difference for yourself you’ll thank yourself for it.Final thoughts! If you are like me and you like organic, less harmful chemicals or simply want a product that looks much more natural that the chemical dyes then I’d say jump at this. I’m so so glad I’ve found it and I’ll never go back to just for men or similar toxic chemical brands

Its Pure Dark Brown plus Its Pure Indigo treatment
I have long hair, naturally very dark brown, but nowadays it's around 60% grey, mainly at the top, sides, and crown. The ends of my hair also contain chemical colourants from the days when I hadn't developed an allergy to them.Recently I had been left colouring my grey roots with temporary sprays which are messy and leave marks on pillows, chair backs, etc. Not good. So, after a bit of research, I plucked up courage to use the Its Pure treament as it appears to be one of the more reliable, natural ones.First Treatment:Used Dark Brown treatment only.I used 2/3 of the packet (this included the small amounts for the strand test and skin test).Skin test 72 hours before treatment showed no bad effects.Strand test showed no change whatsoever, but I did remove it after an hour.So I went ahead....Washed hair to remove any products. Did not condition. Dried hair.Mixed powder and put on hair straight away.Started with grey roots and when these were fully covered, I used the rest to cover the remainder of my hair.Put on the plastic cap, cleaned odd spills from my face and arms with baby wipes (came off straight away).Cleaned odd spills in bathroom...these came off straight away (apart from the rug which now has a couple of darker patches....).Got on with things around the house and left mixture on my hair for over 4 hours....Tried to rinse the mixture off with clear water, but it was resistant, so I had to use a small amount of shanpoo for coloured hair.Added a small amount of conditioner too and then dried with hair dryer.Result:Most of my hair turned out a lovely warm, dark brown. However, the grey roots on the top and crown of my head were mid to light brown and had a vague pinky glow to them.If the grey had been spread out across my hair, I would have been happy with 'highlights' like this. But as the lighter hair was all in particular sections, it was a little noticeable, so stage two had to be started...I waited 24 hours and sure enough, the roots did darken a little (as promised on the packet), but they were still fairly noticeable. So Second treatment:I had already read of some reviewers using more indigo. So I had a packet of Its Pure Indigo ready.I mixed up the remaining third of the Dark Brown power and (after reading another recommendation) I covered the bowl with cling film and left it to stand for 30 minutes while I washed the conditioner out of my hair and dried it again. After 30 minutes I took about 1/3 of the Indigo power and mixed it with lukewarm water in a separate bowl. Then, when it was mixed, I added it to the bowl with the first treatment and mixed them together. Then, I put the treatment on my dry, clean hair, concentrating on the roots and areas where I have more grey.I had a little pure indigo left in the bowl, so I also added that to the top roots and crown. Then I spread the rest of the mixture down my hair, but didn't bother too much with the very ends. This time, I covered my hair with cling film first and then put the plastic cap on top.Waited nearly 3 hours and then rinsed with warm water. I had to use a small amount of shampoo again, plus conditioner.Hair is now a lovely, very dark brown and the roots are almost as dark as the rest, so success! Will use again, but next time with a mix of half dark brown and half indigo, probably just on new roots and previously covered grey.Extra notes:Smell is earthy, but not too bad and disappeared after conditioning.I did get a slightly itchy scalp, but I think this was more down to having plastic on my head for hours than to the treatment and it was nothing like the long-term stinging itchiness I get from chemical dyes.So I'm very pleased :)

Takes ages and needs repeated use
I was glad to see this herbal hair colour online and to see it had decent reviews. I have black hair but over the last year I would say almost half of them are grey. I needed something to provide a good enough cover and to blend it naturally. I suffer from allergies and suddenly developed rashes and burning after using the last hair dye (naturetint). I used it on a small sample and was happy that it worked well with my skin.I would say if you are using this product the first time and need a good amount of coverage, best to use it twice or thrice over a week to begin with and then slowly use once every two week and then once every three weeks for perfect coverage, As its heena, it does take a little longer to provide complete coverage, so its important to do it repeatedly initially. I was really happy with the product in a couple of weeks and the hair was just the right colour. However, a couple of things almost made me give up on this product. First it takes ages to get a good colour, I realised I have to keep it on for 4-5 hours for it to actually work properly and to get the right benefit from it. And its all so messy, even though I cover my head with a shower cap and have a towel on my shoulders. Those few hours drive me mad as I find it so uncomfortable and I can't wait to get it off. So you know you can't just do it one evening after work or quickly before you have to go out on the weekend. You need to devote a proper few hours to it. I tried using it overnight as some reviewers suggested but it felt so sticky and i ended up with a massive cold the next year and a stiff neck. The other thing is the smell after which stays for a day or so. Its just so annoying especially if you have to go out. And its not a pleasant smell really, its very odd and draws attention as its not something you can identify with. i hate my hair colouring days, and if it wasn't natural or if i didn't have all these allergies, I really wouldn't use it. But its a good product and I will continue buying it despite all the moaning

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY
I really wanted this to work and believed it would, since I’m allergic to regular hair dyes.I have dark brown hair with grey flicks and grey roots.I followed the instructions and left it on for the 4 hrs recommended for my hair colour. However, the results were upsetting and I wasted those hours on this product only for it to turn my grey hair ginger!I want a full refund, because this gave my grey hair a different colour to what it said it would give on the box. Also, it lightened my dark brown hair leaving it looking like a worn out, wishy washy, faded brown colour with ginger flecks. It’s awful.
