Playstation Camera New VR Version [Sony]

This camera works great for recording you on screen during gameplay on the PS4. From what I have read this will also work on the PS5 once it comes out since they are making the PS5 compatible with PS4 equipment. There is a plugin on the back of the ps4 that you connect the camera into. Also, you just have to go to your settings and select devices and turn on camera. It will turn on and you will need to position your face in front of the squares as they appear on the screen. It will then recognize your face and you can record directly to twitch or youtube your gameplay with this camera. The audio works well but I recommend a headset so you can hear the game as you play otherwise if it is recording your voice and the game volume is up it will have reverb which is not preferable.

I bought this because I wanted to do console streaming on my PS4 Pro. A friend gave me the original PS Camera because he was no longer using it anymore. The O.G camera worked perfectly well until it started to not work as well as it used to. My streams started to cut off when I was streaming on my original camera. Lucky for me I had the PS Camera V.2 on standby just in case. The problem solved instantly as soon as I retired the original PS Camera. And I can say it’s a small visual upgrade the only difference is on the Original camera is the colors and visual are a bit more darker. Camera V.2 is more lighter and clearer. Easy set up just plug and play like the original camera. Def worth the buy if anyone still has a PS4. I have it resting on top of my laptop and I run my chat thru the twitch site. I am happy with camera V.2 and I loved the original camera as well.

I bought this for me and my friend to start our twitch streams and YouTube videos that we do on our show and it absolutely works perfect yes you do need decent lighting but for the most part if you want to stream this is a great camera to do it with for the PS4 and then will be later on for the PS five

I picked up the Sony Camera V2 for my PS4 mainly to use with streaming and PSVR, and it’s been a pretty smooth experience. The setup was plug-and-play, and I really like the updated design compared to the older version—it’s more compact and blends in better with my setup. The image quality is decent, with good brightness and clarity for a 720p camera. It works great for adding a face cam to my streams, and the built-in microphone picks up my voice clearly without needing a headset. Where it really shines is with PlayStation VR. It tracks accurately and doesn’t have the bulkiness of the original square model. That said, it doesn’t do much for regular games outside of VR or party titles like Just Dance, so if you’re not using it for those purposes, its usefulness is limited. Also, if you’re thinking about using it with a PS5, just know you'll need an adapter for it to work with older PSVR games. Overall, for what it offers, the Camera V2 is a reliable, well-built add-on if you’re into streaming or VR.

It's very easy to set up and easy to use once you get it set up. Only comes with two wires and is very easy to use. Picture quality is great on it and I have yet to have any problems using this product.

Refurbished products are refurbished for a reason. The quality is degraded, the camera doesn't match up in alignment to people even when configured.
