How long is the chain?

At the loosest point, it can go to just about 18 inches (17.7in.) which is the typical standard length for women's necklaces, but there are two shorter places to clasp. One makes it 16 inches and the shortest of them makes it about 13-14 inches I believe.

Does it turn green or looses brightness after a short period?

Your Pandora jewelry should be handled with care at all times. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags as they contain sulphur compounds, which will make sterling silver tarnish faster. We recommend that you do not wear any jewelry while bathing, whilst in bed, or during sporting activities. A safe way to clean most jewelry is to pour a small amount of a mild liquid detergent (pH neutral) in lukewarm water and use a small, soft brush. If the jewelry item is very dirty, leave it to soak in the water for about 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry with a soft, clean cloth.
