These seemed like a decent buy for the money
I recently purchased a Century Torrent T2 Pro to put in my basement. After 2.5 years of training in Tae Kwon Do, we only really wear gloves when sparring. Any striking of bag or pad in class is done bare-knuckle. Well, longer sets on the bag trashed my knuckle. While I have some MMA-style gloves for sparring, which I could use for the bag work, but I wanted to feel the bag a bit more. These seemed like a decent buy for the money. Overall, they fit okay, and they provide my hands with just enough protection. The sweat pad on the thumb is also a nice touch, and they're machine-washable. My primary complaints are about the material - while they fit well, they're still not comfortable to wear for more than 15 minutes, and I suspect they'll only last about a year, or so. But for the money, I will certainly recommend them!

Not for Kick Boxing! No Return or Refund available.
These gloves do not have any cushion to punch heavy bags in kick boxing. They run a little small than specified. And last there is no return or refund available. So, unless you are really sure about the product, I would not recommend it.

Better for lighter workouts.
My wife and I both purchased a pair of these gloves about 8 months ago. While she likes hers, I can’t say I’ve been very pleased with mine.I think the difference is use. While we both use the gloves in kickboxing workout’s 3x week, I do hit the bags harder but I’m by no means the hardest hitter in the Dojo. The thumb seam came undone and ripped. I found the wrist support weak and I had to pull my punches or I felt I’d injure my wrist. Again, my wife had no problems. Both of us found them to be a comfortable glove. Finally, the size. They ran quite a bit small. 8” around my palm when fisted, I usually take a Medium. With these gloves I’m a XL.

Good gloves for martial arts practice.
This is a good glove to protect your hands when martial arts training on a heavy bag. It protects the whole hand, not just the knuckles. There is a small pad on the thumb and the ridge of the hand so all types of strikes can be used such as punches, inner and outer ridge hands, palm heel, backfist. These would not be good for sparring as there is not enough padding to protect the opponent's head. I would use a more heavily padded glove for that. This is a heavy bag training glove, but it can be used on any type of practice target. It is light and does not restrict hand positions in any way.

Comfy, Durable, Supporting - Awesome Value
Hi All,I purchased these gloves a few weeks ago as a novice to boxing/kickboxing. I've been using them to hit the speed bag since they arrived and I can say that they are a great pair of gloves for the money. Straps provide nice wrist support and are highly adjustable. The gloves have a nice bar of fabric that you can grip when making a fist that is excellent for striking. Can't ask for much more on this price of a glove. I've never tried a really expensive one and it might offer something more for the pro boxer, but for someone who would like to train in the sport, these will do perfectly.

Good Quality for the Price, But Has Issues That Other Reviewers Pointed Out
I bought the Me Galua kickboxing gloves. It's good not great. it runs a bit small for me though I believe I have thick hands for just measuring width doesn't provide good fit indication. Although, I still could fit based on sizing chart it was very snug. I believe a few/several reviewers said it was thin and didn't provide the protection they wanted and at least one said it chafed their knuckles. All of these comments are mostly correct. However, I like thinner gloves as it provides greater flexibility moving from one set of exercises to another. That being said, it will hurt a bit if you use a heavy punching bag and go all out. The wrist support is not great but I believe every MMA/Muay Thai style of gloves are going to have that issue so buy a size larger and get the inner wrap that look like bandages. Finally, it will chafe the knuckles and again, I believe any MMA/Muay Thai style of gloves will do that because the first and second knuckles are exposed. Since, your first knuckles are wrapped into your hands when you make a fist, it's only the second knuckles that are exposed. I believe only boxing gloves will guarantee no chafing to the second knuckles. However, you can try a couple of things: 1) Focus on hitting only with your protected knuckles doing your best not to make contact with bag and second knuckles - this is kind of hard to do but it will provide some protection as you won't make contact as often, not a great strategy 2) Use the inner wrap making sure you have a bit of coverage on the second knuckles. Both aren't great solution, best coverage wold again be boxing gloves.Overall, for the price it's still worth it with issues and all. I've been using it daily for several days now and it's holding up really well, so again good for the price.Quick Update: After I wrote review, the next day I used gloves again and noticed a tear in the seams. Hopefully, I can fix that. If I can fix it or get company to make it right, the rating still won't change. Just a bit disappointed that it would rip so quickly. I have a Go workout/weightlifting gloves I've used for over 6 years and it hasn't started to rip yet.Update 2/19/2021:I returned and received a new pair, so the company made it right. However, after just 3 uses they are again torn in same area - along the seam between the thumbs and index finger. I'm contemplating returning them and getting something else, but I think I may just sew them so I don't have to waste time and money driving to return this item again. However, I dropped my review another star down to 3.Update 4/17/2021:Well I did not sew the little tear and have been using it almost daily. The tear hasn't grown any, at least not that I can see with the naked eye. As I use it more and more and learn to better brace my wrist, I find the wrist support adequate though for someone new to punching it may be a big issue. Even now, my wrist buckles at a hard punch, partly due to my not bracing well enough and partly due to the minimal wrist support. The padding doesn't provide a ton a support but as I wrote earlier, I kind of prefer that but there are some punches where I can really feel the hard plastic neck of the Wavemaster. For me, it's fine for a new user, this may be an issue. Still, I like it, but not love it.

Great striking gloves at a really good price on prime
Extremely pleased with these striking gloves. They look great, more importantly, feel great and have a really good quality feel about them. I purchased the large for myself, however these seem to run small so my 15 year old will be using this pair. Also purchased a pair in small for our 11 year old. My next order has a med size for my wife and xlarge for myself. Primarily using these for striking mitts and heavy bag. They are lightweight enough to hit a speed bag. Fantastic gloves and they look cool. ( we got the white gloves)

Impressive gloves for the price
Got these to use with a punching bag we got at a yard sale. I wanted something just to keep my hands from getting chewed up. These gloves have been outstanding. Fit me like I custom ordered them. They provide wrist support which has been helpful especially when you start to hit with extra force. They keep your wrist in line with your arm. Gloves have held up to the abuse so far. Material is comfortable and feels like it will last. Worth the money.
