For this past Christmas, I purchased one for my 5-year-old grandson, and I also acquired one for myself. We both thoroughly enjoyed painting our moons, and in the evenings when I activate mine, I am reminded of him, and he reciprocates the sentiment.

Such a fun craft for older kiddos to do. If you have a family member in that in between stage of kid to teen, get them this! Lots of fun, so pretty when lit up and not TOO messy. Love that it can also be a night light too! Overall great quality for the price. It’s not super flimsy either, the durability is great.

This Paint Your Own Moon Lamp Kit is such a fun and unique gift! The lamp itself is a great size, and the texture really gives it that realistic moon look. My kids had a blast painting it and making it their own — it’s a great activity for a rainy day or a creative weekend project. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the paintbrushes included could be a little better quality, but they still got the job done. Once painted and lit up, the lamp looks awesome on a nightstand or shelf. Definitely a great buy for kids or anyone who enjoys DIY crafts with a creative twist!

Very cute little project for the kids. Who if are anything are like my kids, will just make random blobs and eventually give up and ask me to paint something for them. But lights up great and is a great little project :)

10/10! This product kept 2x 5yos and a 7yo focused on their own creativity for 90 minutes straight! It was fun, it was easy, and the paint washed right off of their little fingers. If I'm honest, I wished I got one for myself, too. It was a lot of fun and my kids enjoyed the activity and the little night lamps they now have in their rooms. If your intent is to use it as a night light, don't apply the paint very thick. :-) Thick paint does, however, make for a cool "lava" effect when the orb is illuminated. I will buy this again. The only negative feedback is on the instructions packet - may want to double check the translation artist and hire a new one - but I didn't need the packet to have fun nor do it correctly. Great product. Nice quality, really fun to make and well thought through. Someone who made it paid attention to detail. You have light and little shapes that you can use as fridge magnets or to stick on (both tapes included). Will buy again as gift
