I got this because I was bored and spending too much money on booze. After spending more money than a case of beer I now have two bottles of the worst tasting bathtub wine I have ever tried. I highly recommend this product.

The stoppers do not fit snuggly, but if you place a wire tie on it (or something) it works just fine.

Honestly, its super great for the price. One gal is the perfect. The other reviews are correct in saying the bung/cork part has problems staying put in the opening, but a few light-weight rubber bands around the cork and the handle hold it in just fine. It is not a huge issue at all and I like the design of this airlock.

The media could not be loaded.  1st time use. Worked right away. I just wedged it as tight as I could which really isn’t too hard as I don’t have a lot of hand strength. Started bubbling with a couple of hours and picked up bubbling speed over time. I plan to wash by hand and towel and air dry. Very pleased as a this is my first ever project. Thanks to those who posted videos. Very helpful. Does not come with instructions and I wasn’t sure if the yellow cap should be on. Videos helped.

Loving this so far. We have a batch of mead working. Some people were like the lid for the trap doesn't have holes but uuhh leave the lid off. I shoved the plug in the bottle good and well and its not moved a millimeter. Air lock is working great. Would buy again.

There is nothing to dislike about this glass jug.

I wanted to get my start on making my first batch of mead and this was the perfect package deal. Worked perfectly for my mixed berry mead. Going to have to get a few more and get multiple batches going at same time. The one gallon size is perfect for trying out different small batch recipes.
