This product came quickly. Comes in both chrome and black. Nicely constructed and sturdy. It has an angled strut with pre-drilled hole for attaching the front of the guard to the frame of the bike. For the back of this guard, there is one hole on the unit to attaching to the bike with screws going perdendicular to the bike (screws to go in from the side). If you have some tube clips and clamps for bike made of metal, you maybe able to attach this to your bike without buying anything extra. The extra hardware that I bought with this has two clamps and several screws. The only part from this extra hardware set that I found useful is the one that attached to the front of this guard. It is a tube clamp with a long strut, with many screw holes so you have some option to choose the right hole on this strut to attach the guard to. For the back, I used a tube clamp to attach to the cover and it worked. You will need to play around with it to make it work. You may even need to file off a little on the back to make of fit snug. This went into my 26” Hercules of 1960s vintage and I was able to get it to fit solidly without any rattling or looseness. After affixing it, I wiggled it around a bit to make sure it is attached perfectly without any rattling or rubbing. It clears the chain perfectly. It is close to looking like a factory chain guard. I am very pleased after decades without a chain guard, eating up a few pairs of pants. This report is an update after one year and it is still solidly attached with absolutely no looseness, rubbing or rattling. I am no bike mechanic or handyman but some creativity and a few nuts and bolts will be helpful.
