This thing is light and sharp. There are lots of more technical reviews on the sharpness of Victorinox kitchen knives, but I have two and love them both for their ease of use. This isn't some self-proclaimed forever sharp knife, but it comes razor sharp and is easy to keep sharp with basic honing for a long time before needing a sharpening. If I had one gripe, it's almost too light. I'd love a little more weight in the handle but I understand that could throw off the balance of the knife since the blade is so thin and light. Regardless, it's great, especially for smaller hands. I will probably keep looking for one that fits my large hands better.

Love this pairing knife. Super sharp. i like the sleek look of the faux wood handle. I love Victorinox overall but this might be my favorite. Good size, feels comfortable in my grip .

We love this knife. It really holds it's edge. When we do sharpen it it sharpens well too. This is our second purchase of this knife -- we accidently threw out the first so we were glad to see amazon was still selling it. I hope they never quit selling it!!!! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for sometimes. Nice looking too.Nice smooth handle perfect for my small hands.

I live the size, shape, and ease of keeping an edge. One of my most used knives.

Great knife. Very sharp.

High quality. Good value. I like the rosewood handle. Would have given it a higher mark if it came with a cheap sheath. It's a paring knife so the thin blade is appropriate but it may not hold it's edge if used with a hard cutting board or stored in a knife drawer.
