After several weeks of hands-on experience, here’s an in-depth look at its performance and features. Design and Build Quality The motherboard boasts a sleek black and silver aesthetic, complemented by customizable RGB lighting through ASUS’s Aura Sync software. The robust construction includes substantial heatsinks over the VRMs, ensuring efficient thermal management during intensive tasks. The layout is well-organized, facilitating straightforward installation and cable management. Performance and Features • Power Delivery: Equipped with an 18+2 phase power design rated at 110A per stage, the X670E Hero provides stable power, accommodating overclocking endeavors with ease.  • Memory Support: The board s up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM, with speeds reaching DDR5-6400 MHz (OC). However, some users have reported compatibility issues with certain EXPO-certified memory kits, necessitating careful selection and potential BIOS updates.  • Expansion and Storage: Featuring two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and five M.2 slots (two PCIe 5.0 and three PCIe 4.0), the motherboard offers extensive options for high-speed storage and future-proofing for upcoming hardware.  • Connectivity: The rear I/O panel includes 12 USB ports, comprising USB 4.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, alongside Intel 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E, ensuring versatile and high-speed networking capabilities. To the extent that future proofing is possible, I wanted a motherboard which I would not likely need to upgrade for a while, and would cover multiple bases. I also read that this board had great overclocking capabilities, but was somewhat expensive for what you get. For my uses, this has been great. Games run well, and the bios structure works well for me. Overclocking the CPU and RAM speeds have gone smoothly, and EXPO with my CL28 6000MHZ ram has been set and forget. Originally when planning my 9800x3D build, I wanted a PC purely for gaming, although my passion for music has since been reignited, so I am happy with the extra NVME / storage options. Another (albeit small) benefit has been the dual ethernet ports; I was able to keep my computer connected to the internet via ethernet while also upgrading studio monitors using the second port. If you plan on using multiple PCIE / NVME devices, remember to check the manual to ensure that you don't end up sharing lanes. From recollection, you should be able to have a GEN5 NVME, along with devices in ports 1, 4, and 5 to avoid lane sharing. I understand however that some motherboards (I think Asrock Nova is one of them) do not have PCIE lane sharing, however might throttle the gen4 USB port speeds as needed. My only comment would be regarding RGB control of the motherboard lights; I've not found a way to completely customise the 'ROG' logo without using AuraSync; software which I view bloats my computer, and as such, I have subsequently left it in the default flashing white mode.

Absolutely stunning board, very impressive build quality and features. Can not say it offers good value, with many boards £200+ cheaper being great too, but for enthusiasts with deeper pockets it is a great product.

Cela fait déjà quelques mois que j’ai monté cette carte mère, et je dois dire qu’elle m’apporte toute satisfaction par sa qualité et sa polyvalence. Voici une carte mère d'excellente qualité, certes onéreuse, mais son prix me paraît justifié ! Dès le déballage, on constate avec plaisir la beauté de la Carte Mère et les accessoires délicatement rangés Sur la face arrière, il y a une multitude de prises USB Classique de Type-C, et connecteur Réseau de 2.5 Gb et 5 Gb avec le WiFi 7. Une fois installée, au démarrage pour activer le Mode EXPO pour synchroniser et ajuster la fréquence de la RAM, en tout cas, pour la mémoire CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANUIM 6000 MHZ, et peut aller aisément au-delà au-delà de cette fréquence. Il y a de nombreux paramétrages, notamment au point de vue Overclocking et consort... Néanmoins, il aurait été bien d'avoir une deuxième prises Réseau de 10 Gb, au regard du prix déboursé pour l'acquérir. Pour un éventuel branchement à un NAS en direct. Une fois, le Bios mis à jour, elle se révèle d'une redoutable stabilité. SEASONIC Prime-PX-1600 1300W ATX 3.0 Boîtier ATX Be Quiet DARK BASE 900 Cependant, le démarrage est un peu long, en y remédiant par un passage dans le Bios : en activant [Memory Context Restore]. Cela se trouve dans les réglages [Timing Ram]. Puis F10 pour enregistrer la modification. Ensuite, on retrouve un démarrage quasi instantané (Rapide) Pour c'est Top ! J'espère pouvoir garder cette C.M plusieurs années en upgradant peut être le processeur et si besoin la capacité de la mémoire. Le suivi des mises à jour du Bios est le point fort de ASUS, surtout pour les hauts de gamme, j'ai gardé la précédente la ROC STRIX X570E-F GAMING durant plus de 7 ans et j'ai eu encore une mise à jour au mois d'octobre 2023. Donc, étant donné la réputation de ASUS, qui n'est plus à faire, je conseille sans hésitation cette Carte Mère, pour un investissement normalement à long terme !

Came with scratches and bent box even though it was new, overpriced, and could not get a replacement and now the return is "deleyed"

Tellement déçu et en colère: elle m'a tué ma rx7900xtx Ma première x870e Hero ne me faisait que des codes 00. Aimant cette marque, j'ai même pris le risque d'acheter une 2eme avant même de savoir si j'allais être remboursé de ma première. Cette dernière n'a jamais voulu reconnaître mon gpu et a fini par me pousser à l'erreur car a force de verification des pièces avec un autre pc, je devais vider et démonter toute ma construction watercooling j'ai fini par laissé une goutte de liquide de refroidissement dans le port riser. Carte graphique cramée. Je ne prendrais plus le risque d'aller chez Asus, finalement je voulais me faire plaisir et je vais être grave ruiné :-(
