Not Canadian or US electrical standards. Not copper, but steel wire and it is not compatible with copper wiring (Copper and steel together can cause corrosion)

Longer is better
If you've ever had a lamp that was just too close to the wall or too close to the door or whatEVER reason, you needed to rewire it to make the cord long enough to reach - THIS is the one to get. Very easy to strip the ends, should be long enough to reach nearly anywhere. Remember to always cut "long", you can always cut off the excess, but you can't stretch it to make it longer! ;-)

Just right for re-wiring a vintage chandelier!
As beginner diy-era, it was a little tricky to tell what side was “hot” and which was neutral when re-wiring a chandelier (smooth vs. rough on the pieces without words), but we got it working just fine! This wire comes in a variety of colors, and worked for our project really well.

It is 18 gage not 16 gage!!!
Print on label is right. Made hanging light for den with LED light. Small gage wire is ok. Looks good running through gold chain!

CAUTION!! Label is different form product description
i have not used, but looks like a decent product. HOWEVER, item description states 16/2 and product delivered (as in label viewed on site) is 18/2. I imagine this is why even Amazon cautions it as a "frequently returned item".
