This is the best carryon luggage we ever purchased. I sometime ago purchased the Compact unit for myself in Vintage Grey to replace an older piece from another brand. It has been awesome. Just purchased same for my wife in the Dark Sky Blue. Cannot go wrong with TP for luggage needs. Folks you get what you pay for in luggage as with anything else. Our other luggage we replaced was a good brand but not close to TP. One of the best things I love about these carry on is the aluminum corners on exterior. Saves a lot of wear and tear sliding in an out of vehicles and especially overhead bins on aircraft. Great products! Just to mentions also, I hate reviews about scuffs and marks on luggage. People that do so obviously do not travel much at all on planes. Baggage handlers DO NOT use kid gloves on baggage. Even the very best can get marked up. It is just part of traveling. Of course with carry on it is rare that they get checked but if flying small commuter aircraft that have small or no overhead bins then they will be checked.

The instructions for how to open the lock and set your combination were locked INSIDE the suitcase. Zipper is accessible and makes lock pointless.

Initially loved this luggage after a lot of research and recommending it to friends and colleagues, and was planning to replace another set with Travelpro. Never again, have never been so baffled by impossibly frustrating experience trying to simply find a replacement wheel or get customer service to even process my requests. After about a year noticed one of the wheels sticking a bit, then wobbling and eventually starting to rub against the plastic housing the wheel assembly. After an hour and with multiple tools, I was able to remove the wheel housing myself and it looks like it is a bad bearing and screw. If I wasn't handy, never could have removed it despite their videos saying how easy it is (NOT) Figured it was a pretty simple fix to order a new wheel or get service. What an exercise in futility and stunning that Travelpro is so inept and nonresponsive. Even after trying multiple country websites, and watching their silly youtube videos on how to apparently fix many things on your own, and putting in service requests per their website with full documentation, I've simply given up. Travelpro's website and customer service is a disaster and have tried to contact them for weeks and no reply. We're not close to a local repair shop per their website and I've been pleading on chat a few times a week. Nothing and their customer service phone hours are limited. Never again Travelpro - avoid if you travel even a moderate amount and have a problem.
