Catch More Fish Spinning Reel and Fishing Rod Combo with Kit

CHECK EVERYTHING AS SOON AS YOU RECIEVE IT!! Bought this as a Mother's day gift for myself, but I haven't had the chance to use it until a little over a month later, so when I went to set everything up I see the tip of the rod is broken off and it's past the time I can return or exchange it, so now I am stuck with a broken rod. Very upsetting, I wish I had read more of the poor reviews it would have made me check over the rod much sooner.

Great setup for someone looking to not invest a ton and get a decent rod and reel plus tackle to fish off a pier instantly. I bought three of these and my kids were catching a lot of fish on our recent trip down to top sail.

I bought 2 of the walleye and 2 of the pike combos. I got the walleyes yesterday and after reading some of the reviews about broken or missing items I checked both of them out. The rods were fine with the exception of the bungee that holds the 2 parts of the rod together, one was not there. When I got to the reels everything looked fine until I loosened the nut on the cranks to set the crank out of storage mode to fishing, that’s when I noticed that both reels the shaft that runs through the reel for the cranks were bent, making the reels unusable. I am still waiting on the 2 pike combos and will update this review after I inspect them both. Am attaching some photos of both shafts so you can see the bends on them. And no they are not able to be bent back into place without damaging the cranks and the plastic that is between the crank and where the item touches the reel body. Also the reels are very small and not built very well. I am going to return these and spend an extra 50.00 for 2 reels and 2 poles that are not these. Buyer beware!

Arrived broken and the package is definitely not worth the price. There's better combos out there.
