Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories

I enjoyed reading Kelly’s book. Very interesting and fun.

I never get the audio for the books I buy. But I knew that this one required it since Kelly herself was the reader. I was so right!I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I watch Live! fairly regularly so I thought I knew a lot about Kelly's life. But this gave me a look at much more about her and her family. And I laughed out loud, truly, many times. I love her sense of humor. And her candor.Even the acknowledgements were entertaining. Kelly knows how to make everything interesting.Some stories were a little long and involved, but I typically skip some sections in every book I read and there were fewer in this one than normal so kudos to Kelly for that.Recommended for any fan of Kelly Ripa.

I've been watching Kelly on LIVE for years (decades?!) now but I definitely feel like I know her much better after these 300 pages together. You hear the words in her voice as you read, even the frequent curse words we're not accustomed to hear coming out of her mouth so easily. I loved the stories about her family and the show the best, even the inside look at her with Regis. Things aren't always as they appear. Glad I took the time.

Not completed yet but so far very human and great humor mixed in

So, I loved the book. It has everything I want and need for a great read. Interesting - check. Emotional - check. Funny - check. Heart-warming - check. I enjoyed the stories almost as if they were told by a family member. I giggled at some and teared up at others (The college drop off - UGH - I'm still choked up about that one) Kelly is exactly who I'd hope she'd be in this book. She laid it all out - and I say, Bravo! Thank you for taking me away from reality for a bit and allowing me to live in yours (I want a moment with Richard Gere - even if he forgets it - haha) Anyway - great job and I know your family and friends must be very proud <3

I liked the short stories. I liked how it felt like we were talking friend-to-friend, and I wasn't just reading. I liked the inner monolog that she would share with us. I think she has a very spunky personality, and I am totally amazed by her relationship with her husband, children, in-laws, etc. Knowing she loves her husband and kids and making ithat love front and center was awesome.I did not love all the language. Some stories I wish there had been more. But she seemed real and honest. A few things I don't love but her decisions are for her and her family. And loving all people is really what matters.I dont know that I would have picked up this book normally on my own, but it was for a book challenge, and overall, I'm glad I read it. I don't really have friends I will suggest read it due to the language.

I loved reading Kelly's stories about her young married life.

I liked this book,love how she talks about her husband and children. I would recommend this book to family and friends.

I really enjoyed reading this book by Kelly Ripa. It was very entertaining and eye-opening. She is excellent at telling the story of her life so far. I am glad she chose to put this book out for all of us to get a peek into what goes on behind the scenes in that industry.

It is a great read for any fan of Kelly’s ! It’s short stories of different phases of her life, stories I’ve never knew before and it was nice to get a deeper glimpse into her every day life with raising her beautiful kids and it was a insight into their marriage ! I love this book! And wonderful gift for any book lover and perfect for “book club” monthly read !
