Anode and Cathode are Backwards!! Conductive gel needs Salt from Na2CO3 and NaCl.
SOME FIXING REQIURED!! All products accidentally shipped from the factories in China with conductive gel and conductive gel on the pads that are NOT conductive and with the Anode and the Cathode fliped backwards inside the device. BY SOME HORRIBLE ACCIDENT I can only guess that China sent these for devices headed for America in this manner. Please follow these instructions if you discover this accidental error in production like I did and now it WORKS OUTSTANDING. First, take the conductive gel and add some table salt and baking soda to make it actually conductive and the correct formula to remove hair into a small glass non-reactive container (such as a shot glass). Mix the overall amount you need for the session until it is dissolved and saturated with: 2 parts chinese factory "conductive gel" and 1/2 part table salt (I used pink for the extra conductivity due to the Fe content) and 1/2 part baking soda. Next do the OPPOSITE of what the instructions say and use the Purple electrode for hair removal and the White one for grounding only a few inches from the first electrode and NOT on your upper arm like is says. Purple=Hair removal, White=Ground. Again, this MUST have been a misprint by accident as passing a current through your chest and across your heart can cause death and lead to cardiac arithmea. Also, the device I received accidentally had an accidental manufacturing design error where if you touch the band on the device as instructions on the manual indicates this is also pushing the current across the heart. Going from the conductive tip through your body, through your chest, across your heart, down your arm and out trough your hand "to use it". I also fixed this and it is now WORKING OUTSTANDINGLY. Firstly, NEVER, I repeat, NEVER EVER, EVER, HOLD THE DEVICE.... This can have the possible side effect of the mild occurrence of death. Instead, firstly, CUT OFF THE EXTRA WHITE ELECTRODE PAD WIRE so you only have one Purple electrode wire/plug and one White electrode wire/plug. Next, plug in the pads only, NEVER EVER USE THE ROLLERS (just put them away so your not tempted to hold the device by hand) and VERY VERY carefully press with electrically insulative gloves press the ON switch WITHOUT TOUCHING the metal defibrillator ring along the middle of the device as this was an entirely ACCIDENTAL design flaw from the Chinese factory. Then switch the Mode button to until the LED indicator B turns on. Next take out your trusty multimeter and from the pads jump start the circuit by making it "think it has shocked your heart effectively" by putting one probe into each of the two pads past the non-conductive sticky gel backing to it's conductive inner backing. At this point the device LED indicator C (for cardiac arrest) will now turn ON and the device is now ready for safe use. Next apply and rub literally the corrected conductive gel on to the site and deep into the hair folicals you wish to remove hair, WIPE OFF ANY EXCESS ON THE SURFACE OF THE SKIN UNTIL DRY as the wet corrected gel will still be IN the hair folicals and the skin will not have any corrected gel on it. Next, while you are completely sure YOU ARE NOT ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED IN ANY WAY (This includes touching metal or a friend) place the PURPLE electrode pad on the area you applied The CORRECTED conductive gel into the hair folicals. Then VERY VERY Carefully with insulative gloves grab the White electrode pad and place it within a few inches from the Purple electrode pad. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT place the white electrode pad anywhere on the body where the electricity will have to ground from the Purple electrode pad to the White electrode pad by traveling through your chest and across your heart, such as from the face to the upper arm as it says in the instruction manual. Once the White electrode pad is correctly placed a few inches (no more than two inches) from the Purple electrode pad while operating it in the normal timed cycle for face or body the device will begin making Sodium Hydroxide under the Purple electrode pad and in the hair folicals where the corrected solution is placed into. This will happen via electrochemical reaction turning Na2Co3 and the NaCl into NaOH which is Caustic Soda and will kill the hair growing folicals. Be mindfull that this will also make a very very small amount of Chlorine Gas as waste in the electrochemical reaction of NaCl becoming NaOH, with this in mind be sure to not breath in the reaction if using it on your face by plugging your nose and possibly breathing through a snorkel. Also, if you run out of original chinese factory "conductive gel" just use the cleansing gel as both bottles are conveniently filled with the cleansing gel anyway ACCIDENTALLY from the chinese factory. As both are tested electrically with equipment to have the exact same conductivity and chemical formulation.. With that enjoy your new fixed electrolysis device and new conductive gel, totally worry free and hair free on the areas where you want it removed.

One year of use -- no results
I purchased this one year ago, and I have used it on my face, armpits and bikini line with no visible results even though I do not have thick or hard-to-remove hair. I used the pads until they stopped sticking, then the roller ball and the tweezers for one to two months on each area, always using the body (vs face) mode. You can buy replacement pads, but since I did not see results with them, I did not bother. After the pad or roller ball treatment, I used an epilator (about 100 tweezers all at once) instead of tweezing hairs one by one. I have been epilating for years, and it is a good time saver. Other than the pads, the device is still working, so I will keep using it after every shower and see what happens until it wears out or breaks. When it goes in the trash, I will not purchase another one.

It works - but takes a very long time for hairs to die
Permanent hair removal takes a very long time - years if you have a lot of hairs on your face. Hairs grow back every 6 weeks. When you use the machine on a hair (or several facial hairs at a time), it weakens the root. When you tweeze (pull) the hair out, in 6 weeks that hair will grown back. Use the machine on it again and it further weakens the hair, and the cycle continues. After a considerable period of time, your can feel the weaken hairs pull out much easier. Eventually it weakens so much that the hair root dies. This is the way electrolysis works. If you went to a professional electrolysis, they have a stronger machine, but it can take about 2 years for your hairs to weaken enough to die and they only do some hairs at a sitting. So this is a very long process. A professional electrolysis told me once that if you just tweeze the hair, without the electrolysis, it strengthens the root, so do not tweeeze without using the machine, shave it off instead. I use the machine 3 times in the same spot to get a stronger treatment each time I do it (although the directions tell you not to do more than once - I think this is because some people have sensitive skin). This machine works, but be prepared to spend several years using it. I moisten my fingers that touch the machine with the provided contact gel to help make contact (hear the beep) when I do a treatment on myself. If my fingers are not moisten, the machine doesn't seem to make contact (hear the beep).I have been using this machine for years and hairs are dying off, but it takes years. Make sure to use the contact gel on areas of your face that are being treated otherwise the machine will not work.I looked into laser removal, but it is only for thick dark hairs. I have gone to professional electrolysis in the past; however, they have been impossible to find in the last ten years. So the machine is what I use since it seems to be all there is.

HELP!!!
So I got my Verseo yesterday. Can't really give a fair review yet other than it being super easy to use. I will come back later and update tho. Anywho... If I would not shave everyday I would seriously have like full on man beard! Its only on my chin tho thank goodness! I very anxiously used the product as soon as I got it, easy peasy. But the tweezing afterwards... OUCH!!! I guarantee you I plucked out thousands of whiskers! I'll put it this way... I started around noon and it was about 6pm before was done! PLEASE HELP!!! Can anyone please tell me an easier way to do this, or even if the tweezing is absolutely necessary? This is so time consuming but most importantly very, very painful 😓 Any and all advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!P.S. One more thing... Is it OK to continue to shave between treatments? And is 3 really the maximum number I can treat a week? Thanks everyone!
