I wanted to switch to a natural deodorant (rather than combined deodorant + antiperspirant) and after doing some research decided to try this one. I’m mad I didn’t do it sooner. The smell is so nice, very earthy/natural. I also have sensitive skin and haven’t had any issues with a rash or negative skin reaction which is great. It works really well and the only time I’ve noticed body odor is if I’ve been stress sweating at work for a while or if I was super active all day - even then I barely notice any BO, it seems to really reduce odor in ways that antiperspirants I’ve used in the past can’t even compare to. Only thing I had to get used to was it does go on a bit wet but that doesn’t bother me, just had to adjust to the feeling. It dries pretty quickly.

I used this without detoxing and did not smell great after just an hour. I was told I should detox my pits when switching to natural deodorant and I thought "yeah okay" that's some hokey BS. BUT! I used the aztec healing Indian clay (bentonite clay) on my pits mixed with apple cider vinegar for ten - fifteen minutes, I cleaned off the deodorant head (since I had already used it before detox.) and applied to clean pits. I NO joke smelled great after an 8 hour shift, and it lasted probably 5 days before it started smelling bad again. the key is; 1) DETOX your pits before use. 2) ONLY use when your pits are clean, fresh out of the shower 3) Wipe off the head every once in awhile with a paper towel to get some of the bacteria off. If you think about it, bacteria can build up on that head like a micro Petri dish. It's important to follow these. I'm glad to say it worked for me and I smell nice!

I’ve bought this deodorant before in the eucalyptus scent, and it was amazing — perfect texture, completely clear, and worked really well. But the bergamot version I just received is absolutely terrible. It’s runny and white, leaves visible stains on clothes, and most importantly, it doesn’t work at all. I honestly don’t understand how two products from the same brand can be so different. It even makes me wonder if this might be a fake, because the quality is just shocking compared to my previous purchase. I’m really disappointed and upset with this experience. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

This is a good light scent and produces no irritation but after having used this on a trip where there were frequent bouts of very warm weather it did not provide cover for my stinky pits. I would not recommend if you sweat easily or for warm weather.

Smells great. Works great too but you can only access about 75% of what's in the container. Which isn't much. After it gets down low the rest is down below the plastic line so all you're doing is scraping sharp plastic against your skin. Not the best design. But guess they're just trying to sell more.

Perfect scent. Don't push too hard or it will push the deodorant down through the plastic holder and you lose the last bit.

Its an expensive personal care item that came with dirt around the labels and lid. Very disappointing & honestly disgusting!

I started using the Malin+Goetz Botanical deodorant. I didn’t love it and it took my armpits a long time to adjust. I decided to give this one a try and I love it. First, the scent is fantastic. I absolutely love it. Second, my armpits adjusted to this one much quicker. The texture of this bergamot is closer to the deodorants I’ve used in the past. Finally, I think this deodorant does very well at keeping away odor. I put it on in the morning and I don’t usually have to reapply unless I have been sweating a lot. 10/10 great deodorant.

Similar to others, this deodorant simply does not work - very wet and sticky to apply and doesn't dry leaving you with wet underarms. You'll find yourself smelling of your own sweat over the course of the day. Having bought this one after using the eucalyptus one - I'm very surprised about the difference as the other one works so well!?
