Awesome shield for any Captain America fan. It's solid and strong but not overly heavy, and the fact that it's plastic means it can be used at conventions. Great size, too. It's possible for someone my size (approx. 5'7") to crouch behind it and be completely shielded, which is exactly what I wanted. The adjustable arm straps are thick and great quality as well. It's also a stunning display piece, looks just like the real thing. Perfect shield for cosplay or for display. So glad I purchased this. Worth the money. Highly recommend.

Ok, let's get this out of the way straight off...the shield is not made of metal. It has some metal rivets, it's shiny, but it's not metal. It feels like a very strong plastic or composite of some sort. While this doesn't detract from the look, you have to admit we all want it to be made of metal. At this price point, that just isn't going to happen. The shield does come with two straps on the inside to attach it to your arm if you want. I'm planning early for next year's Halloween costume. I have a solid black, blacked-out Harley Iron 883, and this shield will be riding on the front of it as part of my costume for next year. I have been wanting to get this shield and when I saw it was on sale a few days ago, I jumped. Now to get myself in better shape and get the costume purchased. Back to the shield, you'll love it. It's very sturdy and looks great.

This shield is impressive. I bought this shield for Halloween and also thought afterwards it can be used a wall decoration in my sonʻs room. The price is on-target for the quality item. I did return it only because the shield was just slightly too heavy for my son (11 y/o) going trick or treating. I still gave this five stars because it deserves it! Itʻs not overly heavy, but trick treating would make it a little too hard.
