Vandoren SR243 Bari Sax Traditional Reeds Strength 3; Box of 5

The reed quality is great. Unfortunately, the price increased 13.1% in 2025. The reason? Probably tariffs since these seem to be made in France. They have 120 years of experience making them. Will we see a US source of this quality reed? No we won't. Instead, we'll just pay the tariffs. Big win :(

I bought these for my son. He said they are great quality, perfect softness, and his saxophone has great sound.

We have frequently purchased these reeds over the last four years and the fit was perfect! My daughter used them for Jazz, Marching Band and Wind Ensemble for her Baritone Saxophone. The quality of this item made the sound of her instrument so crisp and clear at a professional level. She never had a bad quality reed from this brand and or seller. The reeds come with a protective cover, separately wrapped for quality. Price wise, it is the cheapest we have found for a five pack, but also the best quality and consistency with quality.

Blue box is the best. Whether is Mac and cheese or Vandoreen Reeds. Always get the blue box!
