Excellent purchase with powerful hold. Easy to rotate the ring so that it can be used horizontally or vertically. Still has original colour and is very durable despite me clumsily dropping it several times with the phone. Disappointed that straight after buying with a “price drop” 📉 it went down further in price. Obviously it’s solid metal so adds weight to the phone but that’s not something that I mind. Size perfect for the magnetic ring and fits well - easy to use.

I really love this MagSafe ring for the back of my iPhone. It looks great with the Natural Titanium color of my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I was a little surprised to find that with all its bulk, it doesn’t actually rotate. It’s fixed in place. To rotate it, you need to remove it and replace it in a new angle, or you can spin it on its plastic backing if you trust it to protect your expensive iPhone. I’ve been using mine for several weeks now, and there doesn’t seem to be any lasting damage to the glass backing. I absolutely love the double ring that extends out to become a makeshift stand, however I was a little disappointed that the rings when folded to their flattest place, are not flush with the giant MagSafe ring. So you end up with a tiered “wedding cake” stuck tot he back of your phone. Not ideal design. That said, for its design issues, I absolutely love the function of it. It feels very secure when holding it by one hand. Be careful if you wear tight jeans as putting your phone in your pocket can sometimes push the rings right off and onto the ground.

When I bought my S3 Ultra, I printed off a hard case for it. When the phone is in the case the ring holds the phone securely inside. At home with the case removed I just use the ring. So is it any good? Well, yes and no. The good points are that it looks and feels like a good sturdy product. Out of the box the hinge points are stiff, but that is good. You can use the ring as a stand for both portrait and landscape with no issues. It also acts as a finger ring obviously, for when holding the phone and to me is well worth having even without my hard case. So why only 3 stars? Because this is my third ring and the previous 2 both failed in the same way. The hinge nearest the phone suddenly lost all its stiff properties and went as floppy as if it were on ball bearings. No resistance whatsoever. Apart from flopping about, which is annoying, it also means that the two previous purchases CANNOT be used to put the phone on a desk in portrait mode anymore. This floppiness also means it feels bad when using the phone as it flops about when not using it with a finger through it while also being annoying even with a finger through it. My two previous rings had a 100 percent failure rate, but that said, each lasted about a year before the hinge went loose. It was an instant failure on both, not a gradual wear issue. Despite the failure, the ring hinges stayed firmly attached so there was (and is) no danger of the phone being dropped due to the lack of stiffness. Would I buy it again? Well, I just did, but for me that's because of it's being an integral part of my phone own specific case. If I was recommending a stand/finger ring? I would say that as long as you know the hinge stiffness WILL likely disappear at some point, then while it is stiff it is really good. I should add that the magnets are super strong too, there was never a worry it could fall free of the phone without considerable force being used. From new? it's a five star, but that 100 percent failure after around 12 months made me rate it at 3 stars.

First impressions were that this was a very capable and very versatile accessory. A little heavy and bulky but very useful nonetheless. It was good quality and solid with a lot of stiffness in the mechanism. After a little over a month that has all changed! The plastic back over the magnet appears to be very thin, poor quality plastic and it has become damaged. The stand is removed every night for charging so it is always cleaned and replaced every morning. The damage has resulted in a couple of sharp metal burrs which have resulted in scratches to the case. Luckily it was in a case, otherwise these sharp pieces of metal would have scratched a brand new iPhone 15 Pro! Don’t waste your money or damage your phone.

Great ring holder stand at a bargain price. Works brilliantly with MagSafe. Very strong grip on my case.
