I catch two crab but I see in the top where tearing three wholes seem the crab tear it, what I see now if change the net to nylon but the catch was easy

haven't actually used it yet but it seems made surprisingly well. Folds up compact and looks like it will do the job. Cost less than a trip to the bait store.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This trap is sturdy and well designed. The zipper worked perfectly which is nice because my previous traps of similar styles did not even have a zipper. This makes getting what you caught alot easier to get out. The collapsible function is quiet helpful. Fits perfectly in a 5 gallon bucket.I used it the same day I received it. I caught 9 Tahitian prawns in an hour and a half. I placed it a river down the street from my house. I used sardines from a can for bait. The current was strong in the area I placed it. The mesh held up just fine. The bait trap looks cheap but works fine. For the price I paid ($16.00) could not imagine a better river trap.I will update my review after 5 uses.I recommend this product.Mahalo,

This wouldn't hold up to deep ocean, but calmer waters, creek beds yes, but also check often you don't want to stress the material with a big load of your catch.

We had the net in a calm part of the river, no current, just sitting in the shallows and the netting material just ripped to shreds. We must have also caught something but it just made a big hole in the mesh and got out.

Very compact and good design, but this crab net is made out of cheap material, stitching is opening and zipper separating from mesh, also mesh has some holes in it as well and have not used it yet. Don't know if it is even worth the time returning it.
