Two of the four we order did have gas leaks. My plumber fixed them. They look great and we get lots of compliments. If you are willing to deal with the possible gas leaks and having to replace a few parts or have a plumber fix them, then you can make these work. It you buy as is and do not want to deal with possible leaks, then “caveat emptor”.

I purchase 4 of these as replacements for what was essentially the same torch. The old torches were installed ~2004, but the valve assemblies eventually froze up over time and some valve stem snapped when trying to unfreeze them.Two of the 4 new torches work fine after installation. One torch valve had the dial come off and I have not found a allan wrench small enough to fit and re-attach. It would have been nice if the valve dial allen wrench was included as I think the other dials will eventually come loose.The 4th torch has a defective valve. It will not close and is very difficult to turn. This one is going back.Also, these are not easy to install and don't have instructions on how to replace.

As a verified buyer, I think the manufacturer should be more specific on extra parts you'll need to purchase even after purchasing these tikis.Overall, they're great and added extra flare we were looking for, for our backyard. Large and heavy-extremely sturdy.Do your research and make sure you have all the extra parts...The gas line/tube inside could be a little longer than what it is...We had to cut about 3"off our tiki heighth.

Nearly all the factory assembled gas fittings leaked or we're broken,on both torches, I had to disassemble and reseal every one. I also had to replace the T,s with quality brass, because one came cracked. I like the product but would like the company to focus more on quality assurance,and make sure the parts are assembled proporly.
