A wonderful wood look handle and attractive body
The media could not be loaded. This was better than I thought it was going to be! I really, really, really like the handle and the spout. They aren't wood, they are a softish plastic, but they look like wood more than enough to fool a first and probably even a second glance. The handle is also shaped to be comfortable for your fingers when you pick it up. It stayed cool after the water had boiled. I like wood. I like a country kitchen, not a modern one. And the texture on the outside of the rest of the tea pot is awesome. It definitely what is an improvement over my plain silver stainless steel! And I'm hoping it stays cleaner. Straight stainless steel can be hard to get water stains off. This did work on my induction cooktop without difficulty – see video. The whistle is a shrill and as annoying as any tea kettle whistle. They aren't supposed to be soothing! 😅 It's a standard size – they say 2.5 L – so that's enough for a pot of tea or two, or to fill the French press if you're using it to make coffee. It's not a huge teapot. The inside is shiny stainless steel, so if you have hard water be sure to wipe it out or use descaler on a regular basis to keep it from getting spotted. I know you're not supposed to put the kettle at the table, officially. You are supposed to pour the water from the kettle into your tea pot, and then serve from the tea pot. But I'm not exactly Miss Formal, and I like the way this looks better than I like my true tea pot! I think I'm probably just going to brew the tea in it and put it right on the table on a trivet. (

Horrible Kettle
Wouldn’t purchase this kettle. Already falling apart at the seams and starting to rust. Can’t even return

When my wife loves it, you know it's legit
Saying to my wife, "Hey, I got us a new tea kettle!" Is like me saying, "Hey, I painted our bedroom while you were out!" Death to the non-consultant husband in my house, especially when it's to do with a piece of kitchen equipment that has as much to say about form as it does about function. 90% of the time, the kettle is just on display on the center of our stovetop - it better be good looking (as well as functional, but functional is definitely secondary . . .)So my wife loved this one so much that she sent our normal kettle off to the hinterlands of our cabin to make room for this one on our stove at home. It was like sending a fan favorite down to Triple-A ball for sure. But then the new kettle grew on us and suddenly, we couldn't even remember the old kettle's name (it was Tea Jefferson Kettle, by the way.)So yeah, this is a great tea kettle and it hits on category.

Great Kettle!
The media could not be loaded. This is such a pretty Tea Kettle, I really like the way it looks in my kitchen and these are awesome for a cup of tea or hot cocoa or anything hot. This is lightweight which is actually good for boiling water, it brought the water up to boil within 10 minutes (I actually think it was around 7 minutes but I forgot that one last check on time)I think this is a nice Kettle and I love the whistle in case I put water on to boil and get distracted. All in all I have no complaints, but it does seem that price and quality don't match. This seems on the pricey side, but with inflation who can tell these days?I give this 4 stars out of 5. It's a great little kettle that does all it's advertised to do and looks just like the pictures in person. I do recommend.Edit to Add:I see a few people in reviews complaining about the handle dropping down onto the pot when heating - on the model I received, the 2.5 liter beige tea kettle, the handle is in a fixed position and doesn't move, it's not made in a way that even can move.So there's more than one model and the model I received is the one with the fixed handle.I really like my tea kettle, it boils water as intended and looks nice, nothing quirky.

It rusted and changed colors
I loved this when we received it. It was very pretty. After using it for 2-3 months now, it completely rusted in the inside and melted some of the brown decor. It was incredibly disappointing. So if you plan to use this alot, I used it daily, I would consider more sustainable long term options. If it's just for looks, it's pretty. The white on the outside also turned a pink color.

Works great
I have never had one of these before, I always used the microwave or a cooking pan to warm up water. I thought to myself I am going to be a grown up now and use a kettle. Important thing to remember the first time you use a kettle is don't forget you are using a kettle so your heart doesn't stop when there is a loud noise coming from the kitchen.Besides that it didn't take long to heat the water upHandle was not hot and its very simple to useThe color is simple and appealingWould make a great gift

Pretty
I received a good bit of tea for Christmas and didn't have a kettle, typically would just run water through my Keurig for tea, but since some of my teas brewed a whole pot, I went looking for one that would blend in with my kitchen decor. I looked everywhere for a neutral color that wasn't gray or black, and I felt this one would be a good fit in my kitchen that has a lot of green in it...I was surprised when I opened it how pretty it is. All the features work exactly as described. Perfect little tea kettle.
