I read and noted many comments regarding this product (Oak Moss Essential Oil), before purchase: yes, it is not free running like other essential oils, and does not really smell of anything when you put your nose to the bottle; these comments are all true - the oil has a consistency at room temperatures similar to honey, but this is no big deal. Cold pressed coconut oil is mostly solid at at room temps, but we know to warm it up a little to get it to a pourable state i.e. we live with it, and accept this is its form. So we must warm the Oak Moss a little to get it to pour, or dip into it like you would a honey jar to get it out of the bottle. As to the comments of no scent - I found that Oak Moss is somewhat of a 'reactive substance' - meaning, that as soon as I exposed the product to the warmth and chemistry of my skin - out came the green, earthy, and comforting scent, that is Oak Moss. Therefor Completely happy with my purchase.

This did not smell like I expected it to--not very sweet. But I can say the closet I store it in smells VERY sweet and delicious. Thick and green, it is quite sticky, so be aware. As a bonus the box it came in smelled so good, not like the oakmoss, either, that I kept it around for a while. A good product. I would give it more stars if I could.

When I first got it I opened it to smell. Light but quite nice. Once I decided to use it, I experienced a problem. It's thick and goopy. Can dispense it from the bottle. Pride the plastic off and turned it upside down, nothing. Tapped into my palm, nothing. Grabbed a tool, plunged it inside and it came out with a thick extremely sticky goopy mess. There is no using this oil. Il very disappointed. Covid has made even the return a nasty hassle.

Smells authentic, like dried lichen. I haven't used it yet but the thick resinous texture advertised is true.

Smells absolutely fascinating-- green, yet somehow rich-- and is a great addition to my fragrances. Be warned, though, this stuff is THICK-- syrupy, almost as thick as tree sap. You'll have to pry the dispenser cap off to get any out of the bottle, and I'd honestly recommend using a small wooden craft-stick to sort of "spoon" a few globs out into your mixture-- if you use a pipette, it'll stick to the inside like glue no matter how hard you squeeze the bulb, also making it difficult to clean. Shipping was pretty slow, but I'd buy this again.

The scent of the Oakmoss was surprisingly beautiful, not what I expected. I hadn't seen the information about it being thick, so when I attempted to add ten drops to what I was doing, it didn't move. Next time I'll warm it before adding it to the blend. I'll be ordering more from this company as the need requires. Very pleased with the Patchouli I got, too!

Not exactly sure what Oakmoss supposed to smell like, but this stuff smells powdery and sweet, and only vaguely woody. It smells great but I have no direct experience with the oil. From what I've read, Oakmoss isn't supposed to smell like that which makes it a bit apocryphal. Also, the oil is extremely thick and goopy; mixes badly as well, however, I expected that after reading the reviews and descriptions online elsewhere. That's not my complaint. My complaint is that the scent *may* not be authentic. Will be buying other brands of Oakmoss to compare, then I'll edit my review.

Very thick needs to be gently warmed by standing bottle in warm water, love the smell. Great, fast service as well

Online it says it's more deeper, earthy. This smelt a Powerful fragrant at first, then turned into a 'green' scent, fresh. If the colour green was a smell. I was looking for a more deeper smell. As well, I looked online, all oakmoss comes in a sappy thickness, and the official website for this product says to mix with a carrier oil, or microwave for a few seconds before working with it. So note, ALL OAKMOSS PIL WILL COME THICK. Some get it thicker than others it seems, but you're supposed to warm it, or mix it with an unscented or less scented oil before using. Just disappointed I didn't get the scent I was looking for, but found a very Green scent. Its still good, but not 'oakmoss' smell, described online.

Es riecht sehr angenehm. Leider ist es nicht besonders ergiebig. Ich nutze es mit anderen Ölen für Naturkosmetika. Man benötigt leider sehr viel davon, um überhaupt etwas wahr zu nehmen. Desweiteren ist es sehr zauflussig. Habe es auf die Heizung gestellt, jedoch hat sich das nix gebracht, so dass ich es mit einem Löffel Stiel rausholen musste.
