Thanks to a small DVT in my left popliteal vein, I’ve had to wear compression stockings to be able to keep working 12.5 hr shifts on my feet. For many years I have worn Ames Walker, which has been very good to me, but they have become very expensive, so I started looking for an alternative. Being more than half the price, I was wary, but decided to try these due to the reviews, figuring buying just one pair wouldn’t break me if they didn’t work. They felt different, thicker, but went on smoothly and easily. The compression isn’t quite as tight and the length was a good 4 inches longer than I am used to, but still comfortable despite being to the top of my thigh instead of the middle. To be completely honest, I didn’t start noticing the real difference until about halfway thru my shift, as my 58 year old body usually starts feeling tired. I realized these stockings actually made it feel like my legs were being massaged as I walked! I felt wonderful! My leg still swelled, but only about 2/3 as much per usual, but my foot only swelled maybe 1/2 as much, so that my shoe didn’t feel like it had a death grip on it. An enjoyable bonus. I’ve already ordered a second pair, but this time one size down, to see if it makes a difference. I haven’t worn them to work yet, but have tried them on. Being smaller, they actually feel like the right tightness I am used to this time, yet they still reach the same length on my leg, which I appreciate, so I very much look forward to wearing them on Monday to work and have no doubt they will be as comfortable, if not more so. I’m overweight, mostly due to my diabetic belly, so my long legs at 5’9” are thin & muscular from being a farm girl. Like I said, these stockings fit me all the way to my groin, so be careful with the sizing chart. I chose XL by the sizing chart on my first pair, and find the L are much better fitting. Other than that, if you’re looking for a great pair of compression stockings, these are very comfortable, though a little thicker (more like tights than hose), stay in place with the bands not slipping or pinching (pinching being a small issue with the Ames Walker I had sometimes when swelling was at peak), and easier to put on, IMO.

These are the best over the knee compression stockings I have found, and I have tried many. The medium compression is just right, the grip tops stay in place mid-thigh with no skin irritation, and the stockings prevent the heavy and tired feeling in my legs from varicose veins. I got them after knee replacement to help with swelling reduction and support. They have been wonderful. The price is reasonable, and the color is true beige ( not weird orange) which makes them more attractive under a dress.

These compression stockings are perfect! I had vein ablation surgery, needed thigh high for post op. These for perfectly and never rolled down. Not too tight and kept swelling down.

4 weeks from TKR the sock from hospital wasn’t doing the job, I bought these and wore them all day but not at night my swollen ankle went down a great buy

I am 5 foot 10, fairly thin, and bought a large. Fit me perfectly. A little long at top but better to be too long than too short. I would not change the size.

These are not the same compression hose I ordered in April even though I placed a reorder. The band is cheaper at top at the dots caused a terrible reaction. I have 100’s red skin dot inflamed. The packaging is different and the material is not the same. Loved the first pair. Will not wear these again or order again.
