This was purchased to replace a magnifier that did not have a light. I didn't need a bright light, as other lights are lit in the room where I work, but I wanted something to brighten up the specific spot I was working on, mostly for beading, but sometimes for repair of small items. Other than not coming with some sort of pouch to be stored in, I can't really find anything wrong with this. I've used it a few times now and am perfectly happy with it. I don't need batteries to be included, I have plenty in this house (I plan ahead, lol), and it works when I need it to.

I bought one for myself and after using it bought 2 more for gifts. I have used it almost every day. At 68 my eyesight just needs that extra boost and the mirror is perfect as a stand alone or to hang around the neck.

My glass has imperfections in the line of vision which makes it uncomfortable to work. I already discarded the package so I don't think I can return it. The LED light could be a bit brighter, but will do. I am going to look for another Hands Free Lighted Magnifier, but I don't think it will be the same company. Not overly impressed.

The extra magnification area of this item is very small – – about 3/4 of an inch. I find it very difficult to position my work into that area. Work also must be very close to the magnifier to get a clear view which makes it increasingly difficult to work. Also, the LED lights are just beneath that little circle of enlargement. That means, that the light often gets covered or blocked.

Does the job ok until I can get around to purchasing a good floor magnifier lamp. I find it a bit cumbersome and awkward, and the small dot at the bottom with intense magnification is essentially useless.

I bought this to help with weeding vinyl. The concept is good, the design is good...the only reason I didn't give it five stars is it only has two lights. Lights around the perimeter would make this an outstanding product, in my opinion.

This product may have been worthwhile if it hadn’t been scratched so badly. It was a gift to my mom and she didn’t open it for a long time because she was waiting for me to come back down to see it, I live in another state. It was too late to return it.
