This is a liquid conditioner that sprays on and smells great before and after hair is finished. The smell is soft and not overpowering. When my hair swung forward, I could detect the scent the way you would if the breeze carried the scent of flowers - very subtle. I like that because the scent stays close to you, rather than permeate someone else’s airspace. Since I’m sensitive to overpowering smells myself, that is important to me. The scent is an added bonus to this product because I purchased it for conditioning.When I spray it on, I cover my face with a towel. In the past when using conditioning sprays, I’ve gotten acne on the sides of my face near my hairline from spray that landed on my skin. Despite the towel, the acne I mentioned still happened. That’s a disadvantage of a conditioning spray - at least, in my case - but it happens with all conditioning sprays I use, as opposed to just this one. In the future, I just need to remember to clean that area of my face again with some toner or something. Hopefully that will help.I have fine, thick, normal hair that is slightly dry on the ends. In my opinion, this conditioner does a good job. My ends could be moisturized a little more, but for overall conditioning, I’d say it’s satisfactory. For that reason, I give this product five stars, even though I had some concerns. They wouldn’t cause me not to purchase the product again. If anything, I think I would repurchase it and probably try other Kristin Ess products, too.

So a few years back my salon discontinued my leave in hair detangler and conditioner. I've been on the search for one just like it ever since. Most products are to heavy/greasy/oily for my fine thin hair. I just purchased 3 separate ones on Amazon to compare. This one is amazing and the best I've tried so far. It left my hair light with body and NOTHING weighing it down. And as a bonus, I'm obsessed with the scent! It's subtle my I occasionally get whiff of it and it's really nice. If you have thin white girl hair that you need to have a light product, this is it

I’ve tried several leave-in sprays, but this one stands out. It’s lightweight, smells amazing, and doesn’t leave any residue. It makes detangling easier and leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated without being greasy. I love using it after washing or just to refresh my curls between styles. Definitely a new staple in my routine!

Good for hair straight out of the shower helps enhance wave and thickness. Word of warning do not use on semi dried or towel dried hair, it can cause hair to get frizzier, that's the only reason this is 4 not 5 stars.

I really like Kristen Ess products. They work well with my hair and I love the scent it leaves.

I bought this and told my husband how much I love how soft it makes my hair and now he’s using it too!! Keeps my hair so soft and smooth and free of tangles

The product works ok. It’s nothing extraordinary. My issue is that the fragrance is overwhelming and my 11 year-old daughter’s hair feels tacky after she uses it. It leaves a silicone like film on her hair. I prefer a lighter weight product like the Umberto Giannini Banana Coconut Detangler, Leave in Conditioning Spray.

This really makes a difference on my dry hair.
