ViewSonic VA2246MH-LED 22 Inch Full HD 1080p LED Monitor with HDMI and VGA Inputs for Home and Office, Black

This ViewSonic monitor is a great value for the price. The picture quality is sharp and clear, and the colors are vibrant. I use it for both work and play, and it's perfect for both. The monitor is also very easy to set up and use. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I bought the ViewSonic VA2246mh-LED monitor based on my experiences with ViewSonic products. As a rule. ViewSonic has always provided more quality than what one would expect based on the price of their products, and the VA2246mh-LED monitor is no exception to that rule. The monitor worked flawlessly right out of the box. Installation was a snap and will pose no problem even for someone with little or no IT experience. The colors are crisp and clean, like what you would expect from a display costing several times what this one sells for. Of course no product is perfect but the one flaw that I have found with the VA2246mh-LED monitor is a minor one, there’s a little play in the mount so I have to level the display from time-to-timed. Like I said, a minor flaw and nothing that detracts from the value of this product.

This review is for the ViewSonic VA2246MH LED 22 inch monitor and I use this as a second monitor with an I-Mac. I wanted a monitor that is roughly the same size as the I-Mac’s screen to maintain visual uniformity. The monitor sits lower than most others, the distance from the monitor bottom to the desk is 2 inches and the lighted screen bottom is 3 1/8 inches from the desk surface. I have mine sitting on a FITUEYES clear monitor riser and this brings the I-Mac and ViewSonic screens to almost perfect matching heights. Overall, I’m pleased with the monitor, especially for this price range, so with price and functionally in mind I give this 5 stars. So now the negative stuff. To get a proper looking picture you have to be looking straight into the monitor, the picture quality (color accuracy) falls off quickly at the slightest left-right angle, the up-down angle is more forgiving. By using the color profiles built into the Mac I was able to find one that matches the I-Mac’s screen so when you look at both monitors they match up reasonably well. If you need a monitor that tilts often this may not be the best choice. The tilt action is so stiff that I was convinced that the information provided by ViewSonic about having a tilting function was wrong. I had to take the stand off the monitor in order to get the pivot action to free up enough to move. Even then I had to use a screwdriver as a lever to get it to move the first time. The sound quality is pretty lame, but hey most monitors don’t even have any kind of sound capability. The speakers are fine for the normal PC sounds but not for music or videos. I share this monitor with a seldom used Windows PC and the sound is fine for that, the I-Mac has nice sound so that's covered in my case. The monitor has overall good looks and for anything near the 100-dollar price point you should not be picky. I would buy it again and would also recommend it to others on a tight budget. Overall, I give this monitor 4 stars because of the viewing angle and tilt action weakness.

Viewsonic rose to prominence building high quality CRT monitors back in the day so I decided to give this one a chance. I was looking for a monitor with speakers so I could switch between work, Roku, and gaming. The picture is solid with good contrast and brightness. I also turned on blue light filtering without too much impact to the colors (I’ve noticed some monitors turn yellower). The monitor uses very little energy on eco conserve mode - I measured 8-9 watts while working. The casing also looks nicer in person than online. All in all a good buy.

Use this product every day with no problems. Clear and sharp.

This monitor has excellent picture quality! It is not too bulky and fits perfectly on my small deck with plenty of room to spare! This investment is WORTH THE MONEY! I needed a larger screen since I am at the computer 10+ hours per day for online college courses! I am VERY PLEASED with this monitor! Thank you!

Good news is the monitor arrived 2 days early. box was a previously used as others have said. Tape was put on by a 5 year old child. No damage as far as I can tell. I am very disappointed with the HDMI sound. It comes through the back of the monitor vent slates. If the actors drop their voice, you cannot hear them at all. There were no way to adjust the sound level as far as I could find. So I had to watch silent on and off movies. Picture quality was excellent, the best I have ever seen. I unplugged HDMI and went with VGA. My sound speakers worked well, but the picture quality does suffer a little. IN the end it still is better then regular monitor. Instructions are horrible, so small and tells you nothing. A magnifying glass will not help. There website is poorly designed and they are hard to get the correct driver. I do like the large desktop view now. Thie is great for normal computer work, exactly what I was looking for. I will be keeping it.

Had this monitor for a few months now and have had no problems at all. Easy to assemble, looks good and has a nice size screen that has good color and video qualities. Has built in speakers that are not that good, but doesn't matter because I have an audio system that I use otherwise anyhow.

J'utilise ce moniteur comme deuxième écran et généralement pour de la bureautique. L'image et la résolution est excellente et la qualité générale du produit également. Seul petit détail, les hauts parleurs intégrés ne sont vraiment pas de très bonne qualité, mais je ne m'attendais pas à être impressionné par ceux-ci. Par contre on apprécie la sortie audio 3.5mm sur le moniteur pour y brancher nos écouteur

I was very impressed with how fast it shipped, It came from Quebec to B.C. in just 6 days, considering its early January, that was really awesome. But just as a side note, it was advertised as coming with a VGA cable but mine came with an HDMI cable, Really its an upgrade from what I was expecting, however, the refurbished computer I bought from another company doesn't have the usual HDMI jack, and in this case, I could have really used the VGA cable, I really just unpacked everything and just tried hooking it all together, now I'm off to find a store that has cables to see if I can find one that works. PS. found a VGA cable and the image quality is awesome! great Screen!!!

Nice little monitor for a good price. The vertical viewing angle is advertised at 160 degrees ... but it's important to know that this is only applicable looking from the top down onto the unit. I purchased it to use at an angle where it would be about 40 degrees tilted away from my viewing position. It was unviewable at this angle ... so I think they may have exaggerated some on that viewing angle. That said I found a workaround for my needs, I mounted it upside down and set it to appropriate rotation with software and it works for my needs. I would put the vertical viewing angle at something more along the lines of 110 degrees at best. Once you get below the zero plane it blanks out very quickly!

It's good. Decent monitor for the price. Not good for photo editing or graphic design, as the color is a bit off. But good for work and school. The screen color is a bit more yellow than blue. It drives me insane now that it's next to my old monitor. Have played with the settings, and this is as blue as it will go, sadly. Oh well.
