It was really easy to set up and tec staff were really helpful and sorted problem out quickly

Overall this is a decent security system but it continues to have regular camera drop outs and a mysterious regular report of an entry sensor not working. I have a strong modern Wi-Fi so the issue is with the product not the Wi-Fi It’s a shame because this system could be a winner but I wouldn’t buy it again

I really want to say nice things about this system, so I’ll get those out of the way first. The hardware is well made, easy to install and use and compared with the ADT hard wired system it replaced, slick and ‘smart’ in both senses of the word. Being able to control away from home is great for instance. BUT, and it’s a big BUT it has a massively irritating flaw, or at least for me. After about two months of using, it now notifies me, sometimes up to 50 or more times a day, that there is wireless interference compromising the system, immediately followed by a notification that it is resolved. Then it repeats, and repeats, and repeats that message for literally two or three hour periods throughout random times. I have had to turn the notifications off to save my sanity, but what if I’m missing something important? Furthermore, I’ve had to unplug the internal camera as the shutter on this clicks on and off when this is happening, again, hugely annoying. There is stuff online about this problem but with the usual rubbish about ‘have you tried this’ and ‘that might work’..no proper solution. SimpliSafe support we’re supposed to call me back about it but didn’t..I’m hoping I can return it for a full refund. Might work for you but be aware!

A very good system. Easy to install and appears to do everything it claims. One word of warning is do not trust the sticky pads as the only form of fixture for the sensors. In the first week we have had six instances where some of the sensors have fallen off from various surfaces. Luckily all occurred whilst we were at home and the alarm was unarmed. If it had occurred whilst we were out it would have resulted in a false alarm. If you are paying for the monitoring it would result in a call out charge. Screws are supplied with the kit and I strongly recommend they are used

I got this system because I wanted an alarm that didn't lose it connect to the monitoring centre if the electric power supply was cut and wifi was lost (our power breaker is outside the house by the front door). I wanted a monitored alarm system so I don't mind paying the monthly fee. if you don't want to pay the fee then look elsewhere because some of the feature are only enabled when the fee is paid. One think I would like is a carbon monoxide monitor attached to the system but it appears only to be available for US customer. WHY?
