Bit annoying to assemble, but once you're done it's working as intended. Holds strong on the bar, easy to adjust height and the rotations are smooth in both directions

Easy to install, although positioning was tricky it turned out I'd put it to far forwards so it was catching on the pedals, which I didn't find out till the wife took it for a test ride on the bike...I didn't think to turn to the pedals as I just gauged it by eye lol But it works a treat stops the bike from falling over when we have the handle bars turned so we can get past the bike in the hallway which has made the wife refer to it as feeling like we live in a new york apartment, once we sorting out the shed and extra storage it will hopefully be stored with the kids bikes, but it is a great addition to any bike.

This is a very inexpensive bike kit. With a quick search on this website, one can see countless rebrands of the same product being sold at different prices. This is quite common for such simple devices; someone produces the thing even cheaper, and then smaller companies purchase them in bulk, slap a new logo on it, and proceed to sell it on a popular website like amazon. If I knew this, then why would I purchase it? Simply put, there's a reason some of these cheap devices get so many rebrands. They're very cheap to produce, and often times have barely "good enough" performance. I only wanted a kickstand as a "nice to have" while racking my bike; there was no real need for one, hence I went ahead and got one of these. Now, about the product itself. The packaging and object itself look somewhat inexpensive, although not that bad. The red sticker is the only real bad-looking part of the kickstand, but it can be peeled fairly easily. The package contains two L-shaped hex keys, one large for the three screws connecting to the bike and one short for the screw that adjusts the height. There are also replacement screws: two large and one small. No instructions. So far, so good. Plus point for replacement parts. Features of the kickstand: +it is screwed in rather well to the bike. The three large screws are enough to fix it in place. -the bottom screw doesn't screw in well into the threaded metal piece that keeps the kickstand's length adjusted; it easily comes out of the thread. Perhaps the metal piece is easily damaged, so too brittle of a metal was used. The bonus point for replacement parts is removed because the metal piece is the number one part that should've come as extras. --The kickstand's joint is very wobbly. I do like the stiffness of the mechanism, but the metal itself is very bendy. The bike may slip because of that, or at least partially fall. Overall, I believe the last part is the worst, because the weak thread may be fixed by gluing the stand to the fixed length you need. However, that is still an issue. The product is too low of a quality to be recommended by me. I will likely keep it and glue the kickstand to stay at my desired length. You must decide if you are willing to spend less for a lesser experience. Because if you save 5 pounds and go with the 8 pound option instead of a branded kickstand and later regret it, did you really save 5 pounds or did you lose 8?

Bargain buy, great fit, my special bike been without a stand since bought, gone in 2 different bike shops, couldn’t find a suitable stand for it, then found this from Amazon, great price, easy fitting, fits perfectly.

Do not buy its cheap metal will break just leaning a bike on it
