Best natural toothbrush anywhere. (in my opinion)
I love these toothbrushes. The bristles are strong but soft, doesn't hurt your gums, but does a fantastic job cleaning your teeth.

FALSE ADVERTISING! Plant-based bristles -- NOT!
Plant-based bristles -- NOT! Unless you consider carboniferous plants that are the source of the petroleum used to produce the nylon bristles as equating to "plant-based." If that is the case, then gasoline is also "plant based." The packaging that touts "plant based bristles" includes a warning that the nylon bristles should be removed before composting the bamboo handle. This sadly adds to the disrepute of products that are made in China.

*Almost* fully ecological
This is a very interesting concept in creating a ecologically friendly toothbrush. The brush handle is bent bamboo. The bend is about the same you'd get with a typical plastic toothbrush. The bristles are made from plant-based material, but feel no different than the typical nylon bristles. When you first go to brush, you do catch a bit of bamboo odor. It smells like disposable chopsticks when you first break them apart. The odor fades pretty quickly, and it's not bothersome. The brushing experience is no different than any other toothbrush, which is great. The instructions do indicate that the brush shouldn't be left in liquid for too long. I'm storing this on the handle end so it doesn't sit in even the smallest bit of water. The other thing that surprised me is the lifespan of the brush. It seems to follow the same replacement interval as a normal toothbrush. I was thinking that the recommendation would be to replace it more frequently.Ok, so the only nit is that they used plastic stickers (they don't seem to be biodegradable, but maybe they are?) to secure the package. Otherwise, the box can be recycled. Once you're done with the brush, you can either snap off the head, or pull out the bristles (along with the metal clasps). The brush handle can be composted. I do wonder if the bristles would be compostable if metal wasn't used in their bundling.

Super sleek and trendy
These are trend setting and simply chic. I absolutely adore the black bristles. Looking at this I’m in love. These toothbrushes spoke to me and I’ve been rooting for them since they arrived. So number one I am an electric toothbrush girl but rely on a high quality disposable for travel. I usually don’t buy on appearance and try to focus mostly on the benefits of the toothbrush. This brush really got me on how eco conscious it was. Being able to remove the bristles and bury the handle seems really responsible. There are so many positives with these brushes especially that they have the reach tip. It’s not just a sleek looking toothbrush. It’s a toothbrush that can attack hard to reach places.Using the toothbrush I can attest to the fact it polished my teeth very well and I was happy with its performance. This is definitely worthy of 5 stars. It’s an accessible eco conscious product that is priced well and performs well.

Bristle spread compared to the overall width of the head of the brush is not great
I like that these are eco-friendly toothbrushes, but the design leaves some things to be desired from a usage standpoint.I will say, working in sustainability and clean energy, I do always pause when I see a product tout itself as eco-friendly because there is more than ample false advertisement and greenwashing among products out there. This product appears to be truly eco-friendly, as there isn't really anything in the packaging or product that could be a plastic or other non-biodegradable material, as far as I can tell. The head of the brush though is surprisingly flat and wide. The bristles are pretty sparse in comparison to the overall surface area of the head and more centered, leaving a 1.5 mm+ border all around the bristles. While that does not sound like much, I feel it in the mouth when brushing, frequently rubbing against my gums and other teeth with the bare bamboo edges.Similarly, the handle is just a flat stick, like a thicker wider popsicle stick. While I understand that some compromises must be made to make it eco-friendly, I wonder how hard it would be to give it a little contouring and more bristles.Overall, it is a good, budget-friendly biodegradable toothbrush. If prioritize sustainability and can overlook a little less ergonomics, then it is worth a try.

Inconsistent quality
Ordered 3 times now. These used to be really soft- My gums loved them. This last pack I opened was super stiff and made my gums bleed. Won’t order again.

Bristles like Sharp Wire
Bamboo handle but the bristles are sparse and sharp. Toothpaste immediately sinks and bristles cut my gums.

Have held up well with a month use so far
I've been using one of these toothbrushes for over a month now and I have yet to see wear on it. And yes, I brush three times a day, so I am getting some real usage over here. Typically I expect to see the bristles sort of starting to spread out too much. I tend to replace every 2 months or once the bristles are no longer doing their job. I didn't notice any strange odors on this brush. The fact that it's bamboo is really interesting. I thought that there would be some rotting or something with it constantly being wet, but none of that is present. Then I realized that I'm thinking of wood, and these withstand prolonged water exposure quite well. I don't feel like the bristles are too rough on my teeth either as they are Soft. I don't really have any complaints about these toothbrushes. I like them.
