If you don't like to recline this may not be for you, but I found that I liked the extra two inches. Less than an airplane seat, but still nice. I'm 6' and it made the seat a bit more comfortable.

What quality are these bolts? I removed one seat after the installation to run a wire and found one bolt was snapped! No idea what I did to break it. What will happen in an actual accident??!? Now I am scared to drive with them installed.

I just finished installing the seat mod tilt kit on the driver side of my z3. I will do the passenger side tomorrow. The seat is really comfortable just as everyone stated. However, I was surprised that the plastic bag containing the hardware had a big red warning sticker that said "For Off Road Use Only!" I suppose this helps protect the seller from a lawsuit in case of an accident. It would have been nice to know that before purchasing as none of the advertisement indicated such. But I do like the mod!

If you have a BMW Z3 and don't have this kit, YOU are doing something wrong. My back can last through hours of driving now compared to before. 30-40 minute stints in the seat would result in stabbing pains. It works by elevating the front of the seat that way your legs can support your body since the Z3 was lacking separate front and rear seat tilt motors. Incredible buy, super cheap, stupid easy to install. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR.

The non-sport seats in the BMW Z3 have to be some of the worst seats ever to be approved by a design lead, engineering team, and project manager EVER. I cannot fathom how a company like BMW made the decision to include seats so uncomfortable you wish you were sitting on the floor instead. That being said, this seat tilt kit takes these horrendous seats and makes them comfortable, inviting, and protecting. The adjusted position from using this kit means I am no longer sliding all the way out of the car on sharp turns. Back pain and leg fatigue are gone as well. This is how the seats in a roadster are supposed to feel. Would highly recommend to anyone with the standard Z3 seats. Should have come from the factory with this kit installed.

The modification transformed the comfort level of the car with the standard seats. The installation was simple and straight forward. It is a product that should be on every Z3.
