Good book but pages fall out
The quality of the glue is very bad. Pages fall out if book is fully opened.

It's nice to have this nice new copy to go through ...
I read my original copy of this book (purchased back in 1984) twice through and consulted several chapters repeatedly. I loaned the book to three different people as well. The last didn't return it. It's nice to have this nice new copy to go through once again -- and again.

One of the best all-time books on sabermetrics
One of the best all-time books on sabermetrics. Palmer and Thorn are two of the grandfathers of sabermetrics if not THE grandfathers. A little outdated but still a must read for all those interested in sabermetrics or aspiring sabermetricians.
