How long do you microwave?

For my microwave, 1000W, it normally takes just over 3 minutes. Like all microwave popcorn, stay nearby and listen for the popping to slow down. You know you've done it right when you have about ~20 unpopped kernels left. I've been doing my recipe of 3 tablespoons of kernels with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and salt to taste. Been working out perfectly with no sign of burning...

Is the lid and handle dishwasher safe? I know some popcorn poppers make the bowl dishwasher safe but not the lid.
