Please don't tell my sisters (there are five of them) that I'm writing reviews on toilet paper. Our mom was super focused on hygiene, but the toilet paper we grew up with also had to be soft and smell fragrant. After leaving home I was super focused on saving money, so my purchases were more in the what's on sale line. The only thing that made a significant impression was whether the paper shredded into dust and stuck to my bottom. Fast forward to the coronavirus pandemic. For the first time I was living in a bathroom tissue shortage and evaluating whatever was available on a much stricter basis. Supplies were inconsistent so I found myself reevaluating tissue characteristics on a monthly schedule. Last month I finally got around to Ultra Strong Charmin. I wasn't in a hurry to try it. Old regular Charmin was too soft, prone to shred, and too expensive, but Ultra Strong - a welcome surprise. At first touch you know this isn't the old, soft, squeezable Charmin. You can feel the durable surface and two thick plies. It has an embossed pattern and substantial width that enhance its ability to do the job. The rolls are huge; any bigger and they wouldn't fit my bathroom dispenser pole. Liquid doesn't penetrate the paper and make a mess, and the perforations are properly spaced for an easy tear from the roll. Improve your bathroom experience. Give this a try.

Strong without being rough. Doesn't leave lint behind. 18 super mega rolls is a massive supply. Septic-safe despite the thickness. If you want toilet paper that handles the job without falling apart, this is it. Good softness.

I only use Charmaine super mega they might cost more but you’re NOT BUYING A BIG CARDBOARD ROLL! You get the old fashioned roll of softness that your not changing every col days! Worth finding I just wish not so pricey to just throw down the toliet! But worth it in softness on tender bottoms

Why on earth does toilet paper have to be so expensive. Same for cereal. Doesn’t make any sense for two such simple products to be so expensive. Need to find a cheaper alternative. Also — absolutely all the brands need to cut way back on the varieties of sizes of rolls, variety of how many sheets, etc. etc. We just need 1 of each type and that’s it. We don’t need jumbo rolls, just a medium, easy to handle that fits on the large rolls or Imwhoukd say it fits on all the different kinds of rolls. I’m beginning to feel its some sorta of game to cheat us. . There is no reason to have 5-6 different combinations of sheet sizes, roll sizes, etc for every variety of toilet paper in one brand. it’s the same with paper towels. I think it’s my next letter to Congress — if they can’t get anything else done maybe they can figure out the toilet paper confusion and cereal issues along with pricing problems. And then start on some of the other products which cost a fortune retail, but wholesale is pretty cheap. It started with Amazon and one sells something high and then the ones who were reasonable — they all shoot up. The issue is too many people sell on Amazon, Walmart etc — instead of buying at wholesale, they buy at retail, and mark it up. They don’t realize they can buy sale tax free. Also buy at wholesale price for a fraction of the cost and tax free (for some this doesn’t make a difference). You have to go to your state sales tax division register for your sales license. This way you buy cheaper many times from the manufacturer to begin with, you don’t have to pay tax on the items but you charge the buyer and then remit it to your state. Sometimes, you don’t do until you reach a certain level. You don’t charge tax until your sales reach that level too. If you charge it, you better be remitting it. Just look up on your state’s tax division. It can make a difference in your business. Even if you don’t have a corporation, register for an EIN #. If you are self employed you can use your SSN. But an EIN # will make business take you more seriously. Always make sure you submit your St-10 form to your vendor so they will recognize you, not charge you tax, and give you better pricing because you are growing, or making something for resale.
