Finally I can see again!!! At first I thought it was the wrong size since it was much smaller than the original bulb but that's because it's a LED.Very easy installation on base of Whirlpool microwave: unscrew one screw with a Philips screwdriver, unscrew the old bulb, screw in the new one (tightly), rehinge the cover. Done in 3 minutes (it only took a while because I dropped the screw behind the oven and had to fish it out).Great quality. Brightness goes High/Low/OffPhoto shows old bulb on left, new bulb on right.

UPDATE:I just bought the same thing again, but I feel like I should say that the 2-pack of LED bulbs that I bought have both burned out in about 15 months. Seems ridiculous to me, but maybe it's something with the light fixture/appliance? I double checked the wattage and voltage requirements and this should be fine. They work fine until they don't, I guess. And instead of burning out with a pop like an incandescent, they kind of fade over some time, and then are just super faint and flickery. Yes, I rebought the same item, but am probably going to start looking for something different if these also burn out in under a year.Original post:My under-microwave stove light was burning out about every 5 months - we keep it on a lot, it's kind of like the house night light, since my SO works late into the night. I couldn't find a replacement incandescent bulb at the store this most recent time, so I decided to look for an LED version online. This is even brighter than the ones I'd been using, though it doesn't do a good job of dimming when switched to "low." That's fine for us, but might bother some. I'm hoping this will last much longer than the incandescent ones I've been using, especially since they're a little pricier. Time will tell. But for now, I'm very happy with this purchase!

I am happy with the brightness and color of these LED lamps. I used them in an over-the-stove microwave. Not inside the microwave but for the light under the microwave. I was surprised that the clear material forming the bulb outline is a soft material that completely encases the LEDs and the circuit boards they are mounted on. This seems to add an additional level of protection against the vapors emanating from the pots and pans used on the stove underneath.

I cannot believe what a difference this LED light bulb made! My normal light over the stove is shadowy and dark. This bulb made it bright and no shadows. I don't even need the ceiling light on anymore. This bulb fit right into my microwave hood easily. I actually called family over to see the difference! I've added photos of before and after just so you can see the difference between a regular bulb and the LED.

I am SO thankful these are available! - We moved into a nice apartment but the lighting in the kitchen was not prefect :-) - NOW it is! I have a Kenmore microwave and the bulbs in it always got super hot SUPER FAST! - These are cool and nice and bright! The first Photo is BEFORE - the second - AFTER :-)

This item matched the description as advertised. It is very close in size to the original incadecent light it is replacing. This led bulb will use 84 percent less energy thanThe bulb it replaced. It uses 4 watts at full intensity the incadecent bulb used 25 watts.This light in usually left on all night on a dimmer setting. The bulb is rated to last 30, 000Hours. If this bulb were left on for 4380 hrs a year (12 hours a day), this bulb should last6.84 years if it lasts the full 30,000 hrs.

These E17-base LEDs are sufficiently bright for the appliances we use them in: microwave and fridge. These bulbs are suitable for older appliances (those who insides are illuminated by incandescent bulbs). The LED elements are permanently sealed within some kind of transparent plastic, presumably making them watertight. We these bulbs will out-live the appliances they're screwed into.

I ordered two of these bulbs for a burned-out incandescent under our over-the-stove Whirlpool microwave. First bulb worked fine, second bulb did not work. I contacted LudoPam first (not Amazon) as requested on a note in the packaging. Within a few hours, I received a response from LudoPam indicating they'd authorize Amazon to send another pair of bulbs. When they arrived, neither worked! Again, contacted LudoPam and they responded within only a few hours. We were both puzzled by why only 1 of 4 bulbs worked. I managed to find another socket of the same size in a high-quality lighted cabinet in our dining room. I retested the three "defective" bulbs in that socket, and all three worked fine. So it is the socket in the Whirlpool microwave is poorly made. I informed LudoPam with my apologies and they generously allowed me to keep the extra bulbs. In summary, if you have problems with these bulbs, make sure it's not the socket in cheaply-made appliances. The bulbs work GREAT, have a nice warm color, and give off a lot of light! On the dimmer setting, there was a bit of flicker initially, but that disappeared as the bulbs "warmed up". I would HIGHLY recommend these bulbs based on function and exceptional customer service!

Not quite as bright as the standard incandescent bulbs that these replaced, and considerably less difference between low and high brightness (switch on rangehood). We leave these lights on 24/7 and the LED bulbs consume less energy, produce less heat, and give a nice white light - which I prefer over the yellow incandescent lighting, regardless of the slight decrease in illumination.

Bought these to replace the old ones, and wow are they bright wife was very happy with these as they light up the stove very well without having to turn on the kitchen light
