Great Whistle!!!
As a soccer official I have used the Fox 40 and the Dolphin. The unique tone has a 3rd lower frequency which allows players to differentiate from other fields during a tournament. It still carries around the field and in a pinch will stop players in their tracks if blown at full volume.

Excellent product made in England
Excellent whistle. Been using it for years, just got to stop losing them. This is my third one I've had to buy in 11 years. It's loud, authoritative, and thankfully it points away from me so my ears don't absorb the loudness. Cannot say enough good things about this product, and the Acme corporation in England. The English make great whistles, especially this one. It's no wonder it's one of their most popular sellers. Many soccer referees I work with use this whistle as well.

LOUD WHISTLE; NO PEA
*TL:DR* This is a LOUD PEALESS whistle. Emphasis on the PEALESS. It is a single tone whistle because it has no 'pea' in it. If you are looking for a loud single tone whistle, this is the one. *PROS* # Loud # Sturdy (but plastic) # Lanyard friendly # Reasonably priced (this is not a made in China product) # The whistle always works because there is no pea; no accidental blockage of sound. *CONS* # No Pea - children tend to respond better when the whistle has a shrill / varying tone. But, I can't blame the product for this; its clear, the whistle is pealess. # Plastic construction. Some may not like it and it may feel fragile (but its not). # Need to blow quite hard to get optimum results. # No lanyard included. # It can be quite loud and sometimes my ears ring! *Conclusion* Its a good loud whistle. I recommend it.
