These are great because so many have plastic bristles and these have boar hair bristles. The bristles are strong and work well, and they last a long time. Occasionally there is a loose bristle but its not a big deal. it is worth it to not have plastic.

Clean teeth better than plastic brushes because the fibers get in between the teeth easier. The multi pack is really convenient. Make sure you keep the brushes clean. Rinse with peroxide and let them dry thoroughly. Wet wood will mold.

stiff when dry, medium when wet, which works well for me. biggest appeal is that its plastic free. only downside is occasionally one of the bristles comes loose in your mouth. well worth the trouble for all natural.

I love these toothbrushes. I needed to change out my toothbrush, and saw these are all natural, with natural bristles. The price is terrific. Compared to previous bamboo toothbrushes, the handle is much better, very smooth and fairly easy to hold with even my arthritic hands. Often I have trouble holding things that don't have a wide grip, but these were okay. What I like most about these toothbrushes is that the natural bristles aren't perfectly uniform. I can feel the bristles getting into the gum line and between my teeth, leaving a good clean-mouth feeling, even before I floss. I was truly delighted to find toothbrushes with absolutely no plastic! And I pair them with all natural toothpaste with hydroxyapatite (not packaged in plastic tubes). After brushing, I rinse with a couple drops of clove oil in a cup of filtered water. Clove oil is very good for oral health and doesn't kill the good bacteria in your mouth, unlike commercial mouthwash which destroys your mouth's microbiome. And we all know that's important because digestion begins in the mouth. I will definitely put those on my shopping list from here on out.

The product is much stiffer than expected, but that allows me to use less pressure. It cleans much better than plastic bristle brushes and gives me the peace of mind that I am lowering my exposure to more micro-plastics.

As described, however the bristles started coming apart/ loose the 1st time I used it. Thinking it was a fluke, I continued to use it with the same results. The toothbrush is very comfortable to use, and a good size, however didn’t hold up for either my husband or myself. And, I REALLY wanted these to work for us. Unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with the quality, reliability and results.

I switched to the Bamboo Toothbrushes with Boar Bristles to get away from the plastics we are inundated with in our lives. I like how they perform. More of a hard bristle than a soft but does the job.

TOO MANY bristles came loose in my mouth during the FIRST use, pulled out a SECOND tooth brush, same problem, THIRD tooth brush worked well, when it came time to change to the FOURTH brush bristles came loose in my mouth with first use AGAIN, grabbed a FIFTH brush SAME PROBLEM. Would have returned the box but I started using the brushes after the return date. I just hope I did not swallow any bristles.
