I was searching for a build quality case and this one it exceed my expectation!Will recommend for all my musician colleagues!

Perfect size for my Ibanez Iceman (Paul Stanley model. I feel secure now, gotta protect my investment ya know.sturdy and sleek, really love it.

Initially, it seems pretty decent for the price.Couldn't tell you if the large flat sides are actually made of wood - there's no exposed wood and those sides are a bit flexible. but it seems sturdy enough. Latches and hinges seem ok.Strong smell of adhesive from being packed up before it was cured, but I am sure it will dissipate. If you are sensitive to chemical smells you might want to let it air out in the basement or on the back porch for a few days.One disappointment is that the vinyl seems to be more on the soft side, and i suspect that means it will be easier to damage. But this is a pretty cheap case, and it fits my Kaman GTX-51 bass perfectly.

I paid less than $60 for this, it seems to have wooden sides and vinyl covering. It is easily worth that price. It can't compare to $100+ cases but for the sub-$60 price range it is well made and rugged enough. I put my Gremlin bass in it and it is quite adequate protection for it. There is one spot i will have to put a staple to keep the compartment door from peeling the cloth back, but i'll just fire a staple into it on each side and problem solved. Using a little more time gluing it would work too but i have an air stapler so i might as well...

Overall. For the price it's a decent case. It looks nice inside and out but the edge of the case near the handle doesn't line up (depicted) and I could fit my finger under the neck support inside the case.

Would I travel with this case… not extensively. However, it is good for me and my use in casing a 5 string schecter stilletto in my closet (I have dogs and kids). Straightforward and with sufficient padding for a $500 bass.

Nice case, I think it will hold up to being banged around. I use it for my bass.

This case is constructed very nicely, and I will not be taking it out as my main gig in case as I am using my old, trusty fender case from 1983, but if that were to fail, I would not hesitate to use this one, although I would handle with care
