Best $200 spent
This is one of the best hair dryer I have tried (besides dyson) I have tried all cheap and average hair dryers. After some reviews between dyson and shark I decided to try this and I am happy with my purchased . It dryes my hair so quick. I tried brush and curling/styling attachments, both works excellent. A powerful, versatile styling system that makes professional-looking hair easier than ever
The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System is one of the most versatile and thoughtfully designed hair tools I’ve used. It combines the functionality of a powerful hair dryer with the precision of multiple styling tools, making it an excellent all-in-one solution for everyday hair styling. **Performance & Drying Power** Right away, the drying power stands out. The airflow is strong and efficient, significantly reducing drying time compared to many traditional dryers. Even with thick or long hair, it dries quickly without excessive heat exposure. The intelligent heat control is also impressive—it helps protect hair from damage while still delivering smooth, polished results. **Flexible Styling Design** The FlexStyle’s rotating design is one of its best features. With a simple twist, it converts from a traditional hair dryer into a multi-styler wand. This makes switching between drying, curling, smoothing, and volumizing incredibly easy. The transformation feels sturdy and well engineered. **Attachments & Styling Options** The included attachments make the tool truly shine. The auto-wrap curlers create soft, salon-style curls with minimal effort, while the oval brush adds volume and shape during blowouts. The paddle brush smooths hair beautifully, reducing frizz and flyaways. Each attachment snaps into place securely and feels durable. **Lightweight & Comfortable to Use** Another major advantage is how lightweight the device is. Compared to many high-end styling tools, it’s noticeably easier to hold for longer styling sessions. The ergonomic handle and balanced weight distribution make it comfortable even when styling the back of the head. **Hair Health & Finish** The FlexStyle leaves hair looking shiny, smooth, and full of movement. It manages frizz well and produces a natural finish without making hair feel dry or brittle. With multiple heat and airflow settings, it works well across different hair types and styling needs. **Final Verdict** The Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System delivers excellent performance, versatility, and ease of use in one compact tool. It’s a fantastic investment for anyone who wants salon-quality styling at home without juggling multiple devices. With its powerful airflow, smart design, and useful attachments, it’s easily one of the most practical and high-performing hair tools available today.

Originally bought the Bondi, Returned and got Shark
Backstory: was interested in the Dyson, then Shark, but couldn’t justify the cost. I have T3’s curlers and DryBars dry brush, so I had the individual tools. Sephora Sale, I saw the Bondi with great stars, could buy it for $150, so I immediately pulled the trigger. Ended up returning it, and bought this for $70 more during Black Friday. Including my review of both products in case it’s helpful for decision making. Bondi Initially: I loved it. I could blow dry my hair in 5 minutes and do a quick blow out in 10-15 minutes. Additional thoughts: 1.) The appliance itself felt cheap compared to my T3, but I had no frame of reference for airstylers. 2.) I hated how hot the styler attachments got, I had to use my hot pad to remove them/put new ones on (like the different direction barrels). 3.) The curls do not last, but I really liked the circular brush/blow out style I was getting, so was still happy. 4.) The air suction isn’t strong, whatsoever. I don’t know the numerics of my hair type, but I am a natural blonde, very fine hair, slightly wavy, but it is very thick and quite long (natural waist maybe?). The air suction on the curlers would barely pick up any of my hair, I truly can’t imagine how it would work on coarser hair. I’m talking 1/3-1/2 of the hair I’d normally section/curl with my iron. 5.) I would get heat marks in my hair during curling, which was super alarming to me (I use protectant, but I do not color my hair) Then, I was using the circular brush, and the whole attachment snapped off. In investigating, the plastic of the the connection would get so hot that it would bend the plastic — making the attachments unusable. Shark Immediately, the appliance is more sturdy, substantial and feels quality. The difference feels like Bondi=Plastic, Shark=Metal. Speed: Dried my roots in 1 minute, root to tip in 4 min, and curled in an additional 9 min. Notable improvements: 1.) Better materials 2.) No troubles with the heat of attachments, there’s grips at the ends, but the attachements themselves don’t get as hot either making it super easy to change out 3.) beautiful curls on the first try, and have lasted this far with no hairspray 4.) huge improvement in air suction/strength, I can actually curl normal sections of hair 5.) no heat marks thus far! I would highly recommend saving until the Shark is in budget!

The Tool That Made At-Home Blowouts Easier
I finally pulled the trigger on the Shark FlexStyle after eyeing both this and the Dyson Airwrap for a long time, and I’m really glad I did. I’ve had it for a couple of months now, and it’s become a staple in my hair routine. I already owned a Drybar hair dryer with a round brush attachment, so I felt pretty comfortable jumping into this. One of my favorite things about the FlexStyle is the versatility—you can swap out attachments depending on what you’re trying to do, whether that’s smoothing, adding volume, or going for curls. I’ll be honest though—I’m still not perfect at using it yet. During the process, things can look a little messy while I’m styling, especially as I’m working through sections. That said, the end result always turns out good, even if it doesn’t look super polished mid-style. I think it’s more of a learning curve than an actual issue with the tool. Even with that, I still really like it and reach for it often. I’ve also struggled a bit with getting my curls and volume to fully hold, but I realized a lot of that came down to the products I was using. Once I switched things up, it definitely helped, so I think product choice plays a big role with this tool. If you’re trying to achieve that 90s blowout vibe, I actually think this is easier—and maybe even less time-consuming—than using hot rollers. That’s just my personal opinion, but it feels more streamlined once you get into a rhythm. It’s definitely a higher price point, but I do think it’s worth it if you’re going to use it regularly and this is a look you’re consistently trying to achieve. For me, it’s been a solid investment and something I reach for often.

Good multitool
UPDATED: After going through the troubleshooting guide on the shark site it helped with the overheating issue. It still takes forever to get my hair 100% dry with this unit, but it's a good tool to have. This product worked very well initially, but after less than a year of light use, it began overheating after just 2–3 minutes. Airflow is much weaker than when new, and the unit shuts off completely when any attachment is used, making it difficult to finish drying or styling. This was disappointing given the price and brand reputation. I otherwise liked the product and would be happy with a replacement if this issue can be resolved.

Great Hairstyling Tool!
Absolutely love the design! The attachments make it so easy to give yourself an at home blowout. The are three airflow setting to help with drying or styling your hair, as well as 4 heat settings! Definitely worth the investment!

Didn't Last 2 Years!!!
I bought this product less than a year and a half ago and it has quit working....for the price, I find that totally unacceptable. I did love it when it worked though but I certainly expected more life out of it than that. I have other styling brushes and hair dryers that I have had for years that still work. Just be aware that mine had a short lifespan.

Ingenuity at its best completely genius
I have paper thin hair, and in the last 20 years I have tried many different products and tools. All of them have failed to curl my hair. I feel like this one is magical! When I use it as instructed my curls last all day!!! that’s saying a lot after having failed so many times trying to curl my hair with the results lasting for 20 minutes max. I don’t know how long it’s been around, but it’s a genius and I’m grateful that I finally found what will curl my hair. The hairdryer is strong and can blow hard. I even use it to blow out my dogs after their baths. They love it, it’s effective because it actually dries them (I have Bernie doodles with thick curls.) I especially love that when I use it on them it massages their skin.
