Running Boards Side Steps for 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Cab

These running boards exceeded all expectations. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much because the price was so low compared to similar boards from bigger brands, But these were great. The fit and finish was perfect, the mounting hardware was better than my previous running boards from a big name manufacturer. The instructions were also better than expected and the install took me less than an hour. So far these boards feel pretty bomber but I can’t speak on durability as I just put these on my truck but they look great.

These running boards were surprisingly easy to install—no drama, no thrown tools, which is always a win. The quality is exactly what you’d hope for, and they’ve already proven themselves by surviving northern snow without a single hint of rust. They fit our Trail Boss perfectly, like they were made for it. Bonus: they don’t give the truck that “why does it suddenly look shorter?” vibe like some steps do—they actually keep that lifted, tough look intact. Even my son (a self-proclaimed truck enthusiast with two trucks to his name) is impressed and is now considering a set for his Ford with a 6-inch lift—which says a lot. Overall, solid, reliable, and good-looking—definitely a recommendation from me.

These are a direct fit for 2nd gen tacomas. They are easy to install. Took longer to unpackage and ensure all parts were there than it did to actually put them on. I did it by myself in about 1 hour start to finish.

As advertised, the powder coating is somewhat sus, but they installed as the video portrayed. Price is decent for the product. Look good on Mi Tacito, some of the lock washers could use being replaced by better quality. ( may have to do a reinstall and use better ones later, so invest in them before install) I used a truck bed liner spray to prep the mounts and will probably spray them as the sit on truck after a 3 month recheck. All in all, it was an easy install, they serve the purpose and Did not break the bank..now onto a cold air intake. ( this product also came with two extra end caps! Sweet ! )

These are very nice running boards, fit my 2012 Ram 1500 perfectly, not to bad to install. I can attest that they support at least 270 Lbs. The only recommendation to the company is mark the brackets for left and right side. I like the textured finish, shoes seem to grip the step well, (this winter will be the real test). They make it a lot easier to get in and out. (my wife is on the short side she loves them). I would recommend these steps.

First poto passenger side, second poto driver side. This is one winter in N.Y. paint didn't hold up. Passenger side worse being it's the side that travels the edge of the road ( more salt area ) Driver side still rusted. So 2 stars for paint job.

Smanow BCKA-95365 Running Boards Review (Amazon) I just installed these running boards today (10/17/2025) on my 2019 Tundra Crew Max. The product is nice, with a solid feel and what appears to be a quality finish. I think it looks good on my truck. It seems to be well made and fits the factory mount points for running boards. Installation was straightforward with common hand tools: a ⅜” ratchet, 12mm,13mm, and 17mm sockets, and 3” and 6” extensions (the instructions advise AGAINST using any power tools). Reason for only 4 stars: The installation instructions, on the other hand, were awful. In addition to the always expected grammar and spelling errors, the dimensions and illustrations were ambiguous and contained a few important errors. This prolonged the installation process. For example, the dimensions shown on the step bars - used to distinguish the right from left - didn't reflect those of the product. That led me to mix them up - a fact I discovered only after partially installing one and discovering that the driver-center and driver-rear mounting holes didn't align with the brackets. I had to undo my work and swap the step bars. Another, relatively minor, error showed the threaded factory mounting spots as open, while mine had filler bolts installed that I had to remove. Not a big deal, but it cast doubt on whether I had identified the right spots, and also sent me back to my toolbox to get a 12mm wrench to remove them. I wish businesses that manufacture their products overseas would make a little effort to review and test the instructions using reasonable proxies for real customers!

I ordered these for my 2025 Chevrolet Silverado RST and I installed them this summer. I was able to do it myself in my parking stall. I will admit that it would be a lot easier if you have a 2nd person to help with the install. I have had it for the summer, fall and winter and it so far has held up nicely. I like the look of the running boards and the way it makes the truck side profile look more capable.

Very happy with product and supplier. Package was huge but well wrapped inside so no chance of damage. Installation was very straightforward and I was able to do it myself in a few hours. The instructions were good enough to get the job done. They are quite sturdy and should last a long time.

I just installed them not sure how they’ll hold up but for how easy and how good they look I’m super happy with them.
