LOKmate Deadbolt Guard Door Lock Security - Magnet Version (White/Black)

I had to use file to shave off some material from the center piece so it will get snag to the door lock. Without removing material this guard does not get close enough to the door lock, so magnet doesn't touching door lock and guard will fell on the floor if someone will wiggle the door key from the other side.

Easy & fast to put in place! Works on any standard deadbolt and door.

I was initially disappointed because I have an outward door so I wasn't able to install it. But after thinking and thinking, it came to me that this is how it would work and so far so good as it gets blocked when you try to unlock and the strong magnet holds it in place.

I tested three other door locks. This is my favorite. Great build quality. Easy to use. This device will hold the bead bolt closed even if someone has the key. The key will break off in the lock when faced against this device.

I like this product because an’t nobody can put their key in and turn the lock it’s impossible does what it’s built for but if they kick the door really heard the product might pop out the door lock then they might be able to get in

I used this for the first time & when I went to remove the device for the first time, one of the magnets snapped right out of the device. I attempted to put it back in, but it just won't go. Now it's fairly useless. I like that the piece that goes into the lock is metal but the part that goes over the lock feels like a 3d printed plastic that isn't cleaned up very much. I went to rotate this part to fit over the deadbolt & it won't properly fit into the channel & scrapes the plastic off unless you're very slow & meticulous with it. I bought this for added security but sadly is mostly useless now. I love the idea but some upgrades would really be nice.

This “lock” is super simple to use and when it’s not in use, it just stays magnetized to my door. Simple, like I said. It definitely won’t move if someone were to try and unlock my front door. Since I only have a deadbolt, it gives me more peace of mind than just my security system. I love this thing. Definitely worth it.

my door lock has a cover which prevent the product working correctly. i added two magnectic on the cover(i happened to have it at home), then it works perfectly💪

I thought it was really thought out well made..but measure your lock first ..it was to small for my door other than that a great security piece

My package came in the cheapest looking box and printed instructions, also the plastic finishing of the LOKMATE is quite badly done - a tad annoyed I paid $27 for this. Another point to note (not the fault of the product) is the thickness of the LOKMATE which didn’t fit my lock as my turn knob is jutting out quite a lot. So at the magnetised position, the LOKMATE falls BELOW the lock and the door can be unlocked freely which defeats the purpose of having this in the first place. The bottom part of your turn knob have to be less than 1cm thick than the touch point of the magnet.

Does not fit this type of lock. If the latch is offset, the flip out hinge will not clear the deadbolt. The cut out on the flip hinge needs a bit more clearance.

Fits like a glove and now have that added peace of mind with this additional security.

Works well after few tries. Should come with better instructions. One of the screws came loose and fell, but luckily it went back to place and stayed there. Overall smart product!
