Does this work on steel?

Check the other answers and reviews. Sounds like, yes, it will work on steel.

can you use it to clean the stove top?

Yes, but can’t spray on painel.

I'm looking for a cleaner that will "clean" an industrial pop corn popper that has a build up of burnt grease on and in the kettle. Any suggestions?

Hello JJ, the only thing I use it for is the glass doors of our oven and pellet stove and it works better than anything we've ever used. Try it; I say it will do it. Rich

All effective oven cleaners I have tried emit toxic fumes and the smell can be overbearing. How does this rate for smell?

Fumes are strong. But, it is the BEST cleaner I have found for my stainless steel outdoor grill.
