I need to know whether the site of power attachment on the pad has a large, raised,plastic casing. Bought one that had it and returned it unused.

why return it ? was it uncomfortable?

Can one adjust the temperature once it's set to a certain temperature or do I have to reset it each time a client wants it cooler or warmer? Thanks!
