I’m definitely impressed with this product. I think its the only USDA certified organic sea moss on Amazon. It has a real ocean smell to it and makes a large amount of gel relative to the amount in the package. I would say its 100% legit and I have noticed its benefits.

This Irish sea moss appears to be of high quality and fresh. It is certified organic by Ecocert. It is easy to prepare. I followed the standard method on the back of the packaging. I rinsed it thoroughly and soaked it in spring water. Then rinsed again and blended it until smooth and creamy. It came out perfectly. I added some to my smoothie and it tasted pretty good. Also great to stir some into yogurt for the health benefits.This comes in a resealable plastic standup bag. It is originated in Chile. It is versatile and rich in essential minerals and nutrients. The price seems a little high for a 2 oz. bag but probably worth it for the quality. Overall, I like it a lot. It makes great sea moss gel. Good-tasting and nutrition-rich. Good product.

I expected the sea moss to at least swell to a larger size and then to gel easily. No, it takes longer to swell and the gel is at best, more liquid than a thick gel. Very disappointing.

With so many sea moss products here telling you its chondrus crisps it is hard for most to figure out what is what. If you want to get the authentic Irish Moss Chrondus crispus you have to make sure that the leaves are flat and not stringy. I have had seamoss from the Caribbean and in comparison to the one from the Atlantic ocean there is a bit of a difference...Irish is a bit more ocean flavor and it stays a bit more rigid even after soaking. If you soak with a lime it will help neutralize the ocean smell/taste. But be prepared for the ocean but I love it cause I know for sure its real.Nice package by the way.

It was nice and purple once I started to clean it, the purple was coming right off. Not like my last batch that I got from somewhere else
