What color is the liquid?

I think a light brown but it blended well with my dog's water. (only way he would take it)

It doesn't have much of a flavor otherwise my dog wouldn't take it in his water. He never sniffed it but just drank his water.

I have a 20 lb miniature poodle - Is he too large for this product which is advertised for small dogs?

This product will work for your miniature poodle, but based on your dog's size you'll go through it faster. For a 20 lb dog, we recommend our standard Glucosamine for Dogs product, which comes in a 32oz bottle and has a higher concentration of active ingredient (the active ingredients are very similar).
