I tested this, as well as 3 other microphones, and this microphone did what it said it would do! It sounds great, even with the wired lav mic attached and the range was great. It uses 2.4gHz so line of sight between the transmitter and receiver is important, but it worked well up to 275’+ with good line of sight. It’s specs say 300’ range and I got some audio from it at that distance but it cut out more often than not. When I did have audio, it sounded great even at 300’! So, for sound quality, range, product quality and effective use, it’s a winner in my book!

This is a useful product that works as described. 4.5 stars from me.I would give it a full 5 stars if it had a charging point on the receiver that would pass through to the iPhone.I use the wire mic with a baffle on the subject. I use the receiver with a tripod but will also use it with a Smooth 5s. That is why I want a charging port on the receiver so I can use the Smooth 5s to charge the iPhone.

I just ordered this a few weeks ago and have been using it for our program. It has made our videos so much better. Having the ability to walk around a gym or field while working with athletes and gather those moments you want to share has been amazing. I highly recommend this product. Easy to use and setup. Just plug in, turn on, adjust the volume and you're set.

It does not pic up sound well. I have the mic gain all the way up to 6 and After recording I have to increase the volume in editing every time. Just recently I recorded and no sound at all. I had to go back re-record everything. I’ll never buy these again. I’ll be reviewing these on my YouTube channel as well. Make sure I use a new mic so folks can hear me

Finally a reliable Bluetooth receiver and transmitter that has great audio capability. Not only does the Bluetooth for these work reliably and soundly overtime, but also over a great distance. I use these primarily for interviews for my own personal production projects and it works great if you are sitting across from the device and the subject at a table. The audio is clear and crisp and doesn’t pick up background noise especially when the receiver is attached to your collar (the closer it is to the source of the sound, the better). There is also no fuzziness despite being Bluetooth because a lot of other wireless devices will pick up some static. Also, I love that this comes with a carrying case. This is the perfect travel size for anyone on the go like I am. The case is strong and durable and has enough room to pack away all the parts, cords, and has built in foam protection to keep everything nice and safe.Additionally, the input clips right into the phone charging jacks and it is light enough that it won’t slip out or fall out even if you are on the move. Because I am sometimes shooting content in action, it is important that everything stays put and is firmly in place. If this was any heavier, I think this would be a poor design as it would slip out, but it is fine for now. Comparing this to other audio devices, I can say that this one is best suited for smaller projects like content creation for social media or YouTube. This ins;t necessarily industry grade because there aren’t enough features to make it compatible for big production, However, I do think this is great for beginners or amateurs.Overall, I like this recording set up and think the Bluetooth makes it stand out above the rest!

This would have been a great system, only (MAJOR) problem is that it cuts out unless you’re SUPER close to the receiver. I was using it to live stream the bar I work at. Bar is no longer than 50ft if that. Cuts out at 10ft or farther. It cuts out CONSTANTLY. Total garbage and unusable.
