outlet has two settings - spray or stream - stream was the best choice for using on patio crumbling mortar pointing - went all over the patio and house brick vents and where I had seen most ant activity between paving slabs. Yesterday - quite a few ants - today one only. So to be sure, I've sprayed the same area again today. Pricey compared to some - good amount, I'm relying on 'you pay for what you get' and hoping this proves worth it in the long term. If the sun is out it dries quickly, it is then ok for pets to be let into the garden.

After exhausting every possible avenue to remove an ants nest in the middle of my grass, this was the last resort. (Sadly) it works really well

We had seen a few ants inside the house and couldn’t work out where they were coming from. We thought it might have been behind the skirting board - we have hard flooring and asphalt floors so didn’t think they were coming up through the floor. We sprayed this along the bottom of the skirting where it meets the floor and the ants never reappeared. Magic! The spray doesn’t even leave a residue. It’s about 10 weeks now after spraying and still no sign of any ants. I’m impressed.

I decided to buy this as I had ants in my lawn and it was advertised and no damage to the lawn or garden, I sprayed it on a couple of nest and it killed the ants instantly, exactly what it says it will do. I have just discovered some flying ants in a plant pot so went out and sprayed it, again killed them more or less instantly. Will be buying another bottle to have just in case more appear.

This is really good stuff does what it says on the tin

I had a multitude of black ants in the patio and red ant nests in the lawn. Direct spray onto the ants or into the nests works for both types of ants. Wish I had used this earlier as the ants are nearly all gone now after years of trying inferior products.

We get a lot of ants under our patio slabs throughout the warmer months. Thousands of the little things in fact. I must get through half a dozen big tubes of ant powder each year, usually favouring Nippon as the brand of choice. That's always been incredibly effectively at rapidly wiping out large nests, but we've got such a large garden and areas for ants to form that I still find myself chasing them around the property. I thought I'd give this Aviro ant killer a try. I've used a liquid ant killer in the past, but didn't feel it was effective as the powder. Maybe it's because with a powder you can see it on the ant as it scurries back to its nest, and that's where the effectiveness comes from. It spreads it. You're never quite sure if that's what is happening with liquid ant killer because you can't see it on the ant. And I watched what happened when I sprayed some down the other day. I moved a plant pot on the patio and underneath the patio erupted into life as hundreds of ants fled for the hills. I sprayed the ant killer down and left them to it. I came back a little while later and while there were some dead I couldn't help noticing that when I moved the plant pot again there seemed to be just as many ants under that as well. So, while it was taking them down I'm not convinced it is as good at spreading the ant killer to the colony. One other major thing I will point out, and this is a big one for us. It says on the label on the back of the bottle not to spray it down anywhere near where pets sleep. I can't see anywhere on the Amazon listing that it says that, but it does on the bottle. I've read the back of the Nippon ant powder label again carefully and that simply says that you don't need to expel pets while applying the powder. This may or may not be an issue for you but I thought I'd better mention it. We have a spot between the kitchen and utility room where ants find their way into our house, and it's very close to where the dog's bed is, so I've not been able to use the Aviro ant killer in that location.

It seems to be terminating the insects as desired.
